I've been getting calls from this number almost daily for at least two months, sometimes as early as 7 am sometimes as late as 11:55 pm... I spend much of my time in the library so I always have my cell on silent and so often miss calls. I've developed a personal policy of only calling back numbers I recognize or that leave a message - if you don't feel its worth talking to me personally then I can't say I'd be inlined to deal with your machine.  Whoever they are, they're persistent.

I just got yet another call from this number. As with other folks, they call several times a day and I have asked before to not be called by them. This time they say they are from Sears. What they do is telemarketing for different companies. I told the caller that I was recording the conversation.I asked for a registration number, which the caller knew nothing about nor did her manager. I read to them the paragraph from the CRTC website where it states that they must provide the registration number when someone asks to be put on their no-call list: http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/info_sht/t22.htm. It reads:I don?t want telemarketers to call or fax my home or business. What can I do?   1. As a first step, call the telemarketers directly and ask to be removed from their fax lists or tell them you want to be placed on their "do not call" lists when they contact you by telephone. As of October 1st, 2004, the telemarketer must give you a unique registration number which you should write down as proof that your "do not call" request was made. Most problems will be resolved at this point."This got her attention. She said they did not have the number and would send me a copy of the request by mail.

Yeah this # has been calling me twice a day for the past week.

This number has been calling me as well.  It is from HBC.  Two weeks ago I asked them to put me on their do not call list because, one, they are calling an unlisted number and, two, I am not interested.  Guess what?  They are calling me again.  I guess having an unlisted number and my request are meaningless!

Keeps calling when you answer I get two tones and then it hangs up.

call hbc and complain they will block the number. they called me like everyday for 2 weeks and now i called and complained and the number has been blocked. lol they dont know why they are calling but they will put an end to it.at first she denied it and said it wasnt hbc till i said close my account then i got switch to privacy.
