The call is from Montreal area and includes a French version of the question/survey: If you have a child, under the age of 16, in the home and your family income is $38,000 or less, press '1'. If you do not, press '2'.Who wants to know?  I rang the number and left a message for them to call me back and tell me who they are. No response.

I just recieve a call from this number. The recording said they're calling from "Gouvernement du Canada and if you are a mother or a father of a child under 18 years old, press 1..." I don't remember the last part of this recording. I just turn off my telephone.

This number and others call my home all the time..never identifying themselves with a name so it will never be answered. I agree with the comment above that this is harassment. Everyone should be forced to supply their identity.

I got a call from this number yesterday, and call display said Unknown name.  Today they phoned at the exact same time, and call display said Echo Inc.
