got the call today, I have spoke with Bell Canada and Bell Sympatico about my service during the holidays and this call doesn't sound like them at all! ?Complete scam.

Got this number 5-6 times in 1 day. Googled it up and found out it could be "bell scam". It stopped for a good month, then today I got this number (forgetting who it is, i answered it) and I got an answering machine"English message will follow [French] abcdefghijk bla bla... etc" I hung up right away.

OK I am calling 310Bell regarding this number.  The rep is looking into it.....and the verdict is this is not BELL.They suggested we should pick up the phone hang up dial *57 this will trace the call.  Yes it will cost $5.00.  Then we call 911 to make the report. The Bell rep I spoke to was not aware of this scam.it seems sad we would have to incure the cost but it might save many other people who can not look up the number or can just be taken advantage of.  It would probably only take a couple of us to shut them down.Regarding a thread above

They called asking for my dadI called bell (310-surf) right away asking if (514) 490-9548 is a bell number.Bell didn't know the number but it did show in the records that a message was left 5 minutes prior to my call to bell.They called regarding an overdue bill that had already been paid.

Got acouple phone calls from them saying there fron Bell... Not ligit
