Got it today, with an eletronic voice saying "please stand by, an english message will follow". Scam all the way...

Ive been call so many times by that number.. answered.. no one at the end of the line.. saying it was a phone call from bell canada.... I just Filled a complaint on the CRTC website, ive been harrassed by so many different phone calls on my landline and cell phone lately its crazy , ( numbers like 2345678900 or even 0000000000 !! i meann  feel a complaint too !! https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-fra

They called and asked for my former boarder.  I said that she doesn't live here, and then he said, "Well I need to speak to whoever is in charge of the Sympatico account for (my phone number) regarding a past due amount."  I told him that if I had a Sympatico account, it would be in my name, not my boarder's name. He then tried to make it sound like my phone bill was past due.  I told him that I pay my bills on time every month and I know this is a scam. He tried to act like some jack*** bill collector and say that my account is overdue and something about a collection agency.  I told him that I would call the police.

i see this phone number on my caller id at least 3 times a day but they never left any messages.

I have been receiving calls from this number for about 6 months. About one in four calls leaves a msg. The msg states that I need to call back to discuss a vital issue and assures me it is not a sales or promotional call.When I called in to bell directly, I had them search both my internet and mobile phone accounts and there is nothing owing, no outstanding bills...EXCEPT...Turns out someone signed up for a home phone number in my name, but listed me as a Mr., rather than Ms., and used my current address. I DON'T HAVE a home phone but they mangaged to wrack up a bill for over a $130 before I received a billing notice.Bell is investigating this currently.Keep a close eye on your account usage, and if you pay by Credit Card, watch your statements online daily. They have somehow managed to capture Bell Account information. Very scary and invasive.

Have read everything.The same for me... Called consistantly, and then stopped for about a month. I am in a 250 area code, and have never had Bell call me; they email or text! Is there anyway to block this number?
