Call +1 888-495-8501 it's the Candian royal polices anti fraud line or go to www.recol.ca to report these guys it seems like they have tried to scam quite a few people from the same number and I think if enough people report it to the Canadian authorities they might be able to do something about it.

This guy called saying he was  my granson, that gone to Quebec with friends and they were in a fender bender, with a rental car,and needed money to be bailed out!!!When I told him he didn't sound like my grandson,he told me he had a cold due to the place they were in is very cold....He wanted me to send him $900., thru Western Union.He wanted it to be made payable to,Kevin Casse.He said he didn't want any of the family to know what happened,as he had 2 beers and had a breathalizer test and didn't pass it!!When I told him why did the check had to be made out to  Kevin Casse,he told me that was his friend that was going to bail him out!!He told me he was calling from a phone booth because the authorites took his cellphone and whatever money he had!!!!!He was to call me back  in 3 hrs.to get the tracking confirmation number,which it gave us time to go on the computer to check out this is a scam!!!!!!!
   What a sick jerk to do stuff like this to innocent, retired persons!!!!I see from other replies that his story was similiar to mine.

3/18 0r 19 Got a call saying Hi granmom wanted money to get out of of DUI they were holding his personal items, cell phone, etc. wanted 900. send Western Union Montreal Canada...I told him I would call him back.   He called twice

He said, "Hi Grandma."  I answered, "Hi."
He said "What's you doing?", I said "Not much."  

I am clearly NOT a grandma.  Grandpa, maybe, but not a grandma.
So, I hung up.

Ya these b*****ds took advantage of my 83 year old grandma and got her to send 1800 saying they were me, her grandson, and I got arrested in Canada. Then I came home for spring break 2 days later and my grandma realized I wasn't in jail in Canada.  Then a couple days later they called again and my grandma gave me the phone and I got to talk this scum a bit. They are scam artists and basically some of the lowest forms of pieces of s*** taking advantage of old people who have trouble knowing the difference.
