received  a call from "consumer services" stating we eon 2 free flight tickets to any destination in the world, asked us to pay for a subscription of 2$/week for any 6 magazines, when we refused the guy hang up on us; called back on the number on the screen, voicemsg entered stating pls leave a msg - without mentioning a company name ; conclusion: scam!

Automated message said I won a prize.  A man got on the line and I asked what company are you calling from?  he said consumer service.  I asked again as it sounded then like a collection call. He again answered "consumer service" and he thean asked for my husband.  I replied no and as I was saying you have the wrong number, he had already hung up on me.  I called back to only get a stupid machine recording that I reached head office (No mention of the company name) and that their voice mail was full then it hangs up.  LOSERS.  Get a life and stop harassing people.  These kinds of scammers pray on weak/ old/ naieve people in order to get themselves rich.  Unfortunately there are a lot of these BS telemarketing companies here in Montreal QC.
