just got a call from them on my fido telephone.  i'm in calgary.  how the hell did they get my number?  i am so tired of this.  thank god i didn't pick up

CALLED ME IN SASKATOON, I have been getting many strange out of province numbers on my home phone like this.  MY home # is unlisted..I havent applied for anything...I will make a loud alarming sound in their ear if I ever get a real person on the other line.

It's illegal to make telemarketing calls to any number where the receiver pays for the call, this includes cell phones.  If your cell phone is on the DNC list, then the telemarketer is liable for the penalties for BOTH offences.
