I got this call (506) 443-8400) on my cell phone number as well @ 14:47 Eastern 15/10/08. I have a suspicion they got my number from some sort of "free" vacation package entry that I entered for the hell of it on-line.

Wow - there are some ignorant people on here! I was contacted because I REQUESTED information - but I had forgotten about it - now I know who is contacting me and I am glad because I WANT to attend university!As for this discussion- Who fills in their REAL phone number on an online form and DOES NOT expect to be contacted??? Second - There is NO FEDERAL accreditation in Canada. Every accredited school is given degree granting status from the PROVINCE that they are based in.I agree with the poster who said that some of you people on here could definitely use an education. It might make your critical thinking skills improve, as well as your ability to gather the CORRECT information before making assumptions.Quit filling out online forms and giving your real information, people!!!! It's your own fault your being contacted!!

I am a student of Meritus University and I am proud to say it! Yes they call and call call. HOWEVER if you tell them not to they wont anymore!!! DUH! They are accredited and they do care about their students they will help in anyway they can. I get to work raise my family and get my degree all at once and It is wonderful. So people obviously you should use your head and simply say dont call me anymore instead of ignoring them or playing along!! HELLO I am sure they have better things to do than call people who aren't interested all day!!!Get a grip!
