I just noticed that Yellowpages lists them as Meritus University in NB. Sounds like a scam to me!http://www.yellowpages.ca/bus/New-Brunswick/M ... l?adid=01164800

I got this call 3 days in a row. No message either. Annoying. Thank goodness for this website...

Perhaps if you had some education you would know the difference between "your" and "you're", but instead you're stuck in a dead end job calling honest people who don't want to talk to you. Sad.

I am a student of Meritus University and I am proud to say it! Yes they call and call call. HOWEVER if you tell them not to they wont anymore!!! DUH! They are accredited and they do care about their students they will help in anyway they can. I get to work raise my family and get my degree all at once and It is wonderful. So people obviously you should use your head and simply say dont call me anymore instead of ignoring them or playing along!! HELLO I am sure they have better things to do than call people who aren't interested all day!!!Get a grip!

All,I can assure you Meritus in no joke, nor is it a scam. They are an accredited institute in the Province of New Brunswick, same as UNB or St.Thomas. Care to question their credentials? The difference between those residential programs and the online format is participation requirements. With Meritus, 30% of your mark is based on participating in the online discussions and responding to questions from the facilitator, plus there are weekly requirements to respond to your classmate?s responses, called substantive posts, you are required to complete six posts per week, on three seperate days, plus the other assignments. Yes and no answers are worthless and do not suffice as you are required to interaction and provide value to the discussions. The remaining 70% of your mark is based on assignments, both individual and team collaborations. They follow stringent standards and are very demanding at times. Try working with someone from the middle-east and coordinating meetings with them. Not a simple task and requires exceptional organizational skills. I have completed course at Meritus U, Nippissing University in North Bay, ON, and Memorial University in St. John?s, NL, I would rather attend a residential program any day, as they are far less demanding and easier to pass than Meritus U. The benefit to Meritus, flexible timings and you actually learn something useful...
