all universities are for profit, they are a business just like everything else

meritus university is a legit school. I am going there and taking the on-line bachelor program since last year

I live in NB and know that Meritus is a real university. It is a sister college to the University of Pheonix. Yes it is online and it is for-profit but they are accredited byt the province of NB to offer post-secondary education. In Canada, post-secondary education is governed by the institute's host province. So, in case you were wondering, it is a legitimate university. How they are getting unlisted numbers and/or numbers of people who are not requesting information...I do not have that answer.

Yes they have been calling me for weeks...i eventually took the call, when they said they're returning MY inquiry about an online business degree...they had ALL of my personal info - I did NOT make this inquiry!I played along for while, they suggested that i may qualify for FREE classes, I just have to forward my transcript of previous college courses taken to see which of their classes i would be exempt from! Ya right....I wonder what they get off of my transcrpit that will satisfy their ambition? Any ideas?
