I just got this call too. Sounds like a scam to me. They called my work cell phone. I got the call that was a recording telling me this was the last chance to reduce my interest rate on my credit card and to press 1 to speak with a person about it. I made the mistake of hitting one. I was talking to a heavy-accented woman I could barely understand and she wanted to know if I had any high interest rate cards with balances over $2500. I was telling her about them but then got cold feet (fortunately before I gave any card info) and was given to a 'manager' who I could at least understand. I asked what company he was and he said "Account Services". Pretty generic sounding, huh? When I told him I wasn't at home and did not have info they needed to do this right now, he asked when they could call me back. I told them an hour and have been online ever since. Now that I am comfortable that it is a scam, I will be interested if the same number calls me back. I just hope they don't keep calling my work cell phone. How did they get that number anyway? Auto-dialer, I guess. Its on the "Do Not Call List", though.

I am not doing business with this scam!

This is a scam!  They're just looking to steal your credit card info - do not give any info out.  If you ask to be removed from the call list they just hang up or cuss at you and keep calling back.  I am on the Do Not Call list, but it appears they could care less.  They're either re-routing through an international line or spoofing the number so it cannot be traced and the telemarketers cannot be prosecuted.  Phone company can't do anything or block number because it is an 11 digit number.

A new credit card group that wants to lower my rates with a threat this is the last chance (of course 10 last chances in a months or so). Another moving target so I now follow their instructions to speak to an agent who can help me. I then go into my disabled voice (shouting Helwo, helwo, can you hep me?), this usually goes on for about 3 minutes, I am now starting to enjoy this routine and may add some more to it. Have fun, take up their time.

Didn't answer when I saw the number.  I too noticed though that it had too many numbers.  506 is the international country code from Costa Rica.  I don't know if this is where the call came from (this is also the area code for New Brunswick, Canada).  I'm sure whatever they are trying to sell is a scam.
