I got a call, answered and no one answered back. Thought these kind'a calls were on the no call list. If not, they should be. If so I'll report them.

Got a call on 2/25/09 regarding lowering my credit card interst rate on automated message Theriault, H.

I've been getting calls from this company for awhile now. This is the first time the number came up though. When I ask to be placed on the do not call list they just hang up.

Received a call on Mar 13 2009.  Phone number registered to Hector Theriault -one in Eel River Bar First Nation, New Brunswick - the other in Baie Sainte Anne, New Brunswick.  Strange thing is I have family in New Brunwick and ME w/same last name. When I returned the call to see if there was a link less than 2 hours from the caller ID recorded time, the phone number was DISCONNECTED. I have no bills to collect. Why do others think this caller is a debt collector?  Is this a temporary call-forward service that's active for a while, then when the work is done goes inactive/disconnected?

Robo-call claiming I'd "won" a Caribbean vacation. Obviously a scam. Pressed "1" for amusement. Connected to a young-sounding man. I informed him that he should not hang up, and the call was "being recorded for law enforcement purposes." He hung up immediately. Hope I ruined his day (but I doubt it).
