Several calls, mainly men and a woman. Claims working for MBNA and eventually another firm. At first they told me everything about my daughters account...they said they could since I was her mother. At this time, I only made a $10.00 payment. Later, I had phone calls asking for $4,000.00 payment on the same account, to dissolve my daughters debt. These people would not send papers...so I knew they were legit. No proof of who they are, account numbers, or anything. They wanted me to send them a check, and in a plain envelope!!!  I would not send a payment, not knowing if it was actually going to her account. And after the phone calls that followed, they should owe me the $4,000.00.Several harassing calls. Man stating: What did you do with your daughter? Did you do something with her? Why hasn't anyone seen her? Why can't anyone find her? What did you do with her? Did you harm her in any way? Do you want me to report you since no one has heard from her, can't find her, or hasn't seen her? And one question was about meeting me or her in an alley! (Which shook me up because my daughter had been harmed a few years back!) And he accused me of being unintelligent and sooo stupid. This was the only bad thing I ever said to him...no, I am not stupid, but maybe you are. I again hung up, called the phone company, and an attorney. But this place several times a day...harassing me. In my opinion - phone calls like these, well, the company and individual should be held accountable. But their nastiness goes on and on and on. Well, the nice phone calls where the caller was level headed, these callers said they represented MBNA. The nasty threatening/harassing phone calls...the callers said that the account had been turned over to them, to collect.

. yeah. just got a call thiss morning. sayin' they want our numbers as in credit card, social number, blah blah. even though they said they have them. it was really stupid. then they threten to take our house away r something they always all in the morning too. Then they started yelling and throwing everything out of porportion, after my mom said; "NO I'm not doing anything over the phone." They ended the call a little after.

They called my mother's house saying I didn't show up in court today and they are looking for me.  Hello?!?  Idiots!  As if I wouldn't have had to get served first.  Better yet, if I failed to appear their judgement would have been automatically granted and they wouldn't have to come "find" me.  Under the FDCPA they are not allowed to lie, but that sure doesn't stop some of these bottom feeders.

UpdateWell they called me on Oct 17th and i just hanged up on them. After that I have not heard from them again. I was thinking they sold the debt to another company or they actually are going to sue me (I really doubted this).Well Today I get a letter in the mail from a new Collection Agency with my cold Chase debt that Creditors Interchange bought and now Sold to Maximum Recovory Solutions (I googled and found out its another Slimball company that uses scare tactics).Well after dealing with threats and lies and millions of phone calls to my work and cell phone and family members they gave up and sold the debt. I have learned a lot about Collection Agencys and my rights as a Debtor.What i suggest to others if you get calls from this Scumbags.1 Never talk to them on the Phone (Send them a Register letter to stop all phone communication and can only reach you thru mail only).2 Most Old Credit card debts are Charged off and sold to these companys for Pennies on the dollars and you also need to send them a Validation debt letter ( google it ) to see if the debt is valid.3 If you plan to pay these guys or can pay. Do not set up payments thru your checking account or CC they will suck your account dry if you got anything in there. Ask for all negotions in writing (faxed or mail to you) with details of amount your going to pay and that they remove the debt from your Credit Report and make payments only with Money orders.I suggest if you are planning to pay,get a hold of the original creditor and set up payments with them. IF a CA ask you to pay in full and you have the money you can talk your way down of the debt.Just say you owe 4,000 dollars and the ask for it in full,you have a pretty good chance you can get the debt down to 20%-60% of the original debt.Remember the bought the debt for a pennies on the dollar,So they will still be making a nice profit.4 Will they Sue you? Chances are slim to none.If anyone plans to sue you it would be your original creditor.Once the Debt goes past 90-180 days with no payments its due in full and then the Creditor will take a look at how much you owe,Credit Report,Assets(Home,Cars,Good paying job)and your current debts and will make a decision to Sue.Most the Time they charge off the debt as bad debt (tax right off for all the profit the CCC make) and sell the Debt to Collection agency.Most Collections Agencys will not take the risk of paying attornys and court fees  to take you to court, and they still have to get a judge to sign off on this to get a settlement or could get dissmissed.So if they threaten to sue you its only a Scare Tactic.Final thoughts a few years ago I had 750 plus credit score,I was proud of my credit score and always paid my bills and engoyed being responsible and recieving good APR %. Well after losing my house,job,Family illness, I realized there are more important things in life. You only live once take care of you and your family first before paying Lowlife Collections agencies like Creditors Interchange that is Getting Rich off there Scare Tactics ( they Have 5 locations but may complaints and law suits against them). And for the Original Creditor that you try to tell them your in trouble and the raise your APR from 7.9% to 29.9% and tact all kinds of BS fees calling you a high risk and are making Trillions a year.Dont feel bad they will be just fine write off your debt and sell it and ruin your Credit Report.And for the Collections people,I know its your job to try collect debt to make any money at your work. I imagine you will be fired pretty quick if you dont collect any money or Will make Min wage a hour since your on Commission.I dont think all Collectors or Slimeballs,There are a few that just want to know whats going on with your debt and will try to set something up to pay something.Then theres Places like Creditors Interchange That Lie to you and your Family and Work, Saying there Attornys,Cops,Judges,Payroll from your work, Telling your Employer that you missed Court,Disclosing Debt Information to 3rd party which is Totaly illegal Ive heard it all from this place.I hope the Owners and the Lie Collectors that work for this company go to hell when they die.SORRY FOR THE LONG POST VENTING

We received calls from the same number.  We are currently going through credit counseling and are saving up enough money to pay off our debt quickly.  The woman who called indicated she was calling regarding an arbitration case in our county (arbitration refers to resolution outside of court, so that in itself is suspect).  She asked me to return the call at 1-+1 866-816-3177, ext 3125.  I have no intention of subjecting myself to the kind of harrassment described by others in this post.  I am disgusted by Bank of America, and will never do business with them again.
