I received a phone call from this number no one talked on the other line, dead air.

Be careful stringing them along. I did that just to mess with the guy but it backfired on me. This guy continually called me from India telling me he loved me and wanted to marry me. He was trying to get an "in" to Canada. He was seriously creepy. It started out as funny messing with this guy but I forgot that he has my phone number and with that, access to my address. I had to get very mean and threaten him to get him to stop.That being said, I just got a call from them and didn't answer. They call my work all the time too. Yes, option 2 doesn't work and trying to talk to the person on line 1 to get off the list doesn't work either. They just hang up. Ugh!!!

Received a call Saturday February 21st.  Said because I am so regular with my payments that I qualified for 6.9% interest.  Proceeded to ask expiration date on highest balance card, I gave it, then asked for the 16 digit confirmation number????  I told them if they were legitimate that they should already have that information.  He said (in very broken English) that they 'needed to confirm the number', that 'there was no personal information being given'...I told him he was nuts, and the next thing he would ask is the three digit id number on the back.  'NO NO' he said, I just need to confirm your card number.  I argued politely with him for about 20 seconds and he decided to give up.NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, give anyone your 16 digit card number, Hell, I should not have even given him the expiration date, however, I don't believe they can scam any money with that information only.

Obvioius fraud

I am on the Do Not Call list and find this very annoying!  NEVER give any info over the phone!  I think this is a SCAM.

lucky me, just when I thought the scammers forgot all about me for five days .....glad I didn't answer, judging by the comments ....am on DNC list so I should not have received this one coming from Quebec ..... according to recent CBC talk show, there is another list we need to get on, the international DNC list .....but since I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, I will just continue watching all the various cities and states  they are coming from......
