My proven way to stop these calls......Answer, speak immediately so the computer will transfer to a live person. Then have fun with it, tell them you are so interested, but keep saying you are doing things, like answering doorbell, getting pen and paper, getting credit card. The more you can waste that live person's time (and wages) will get you off call lists faster than any "do not call" list. I do this, and they never call again, and I have rarely been getting new calls. Hit them where it hurts, the wallet.If a nice percentage of people did this, all telemarketing would probably stop...And please feel free to pass all of this along whenever you post comments on other numbers...BTW: the best I've been able to do is keep them on the line for 11 minutes, but with only coming back to the phone for 15 seconds at a time, three times. So my 45 seconds cost them 11 minutes of wages.

It's not Ryerson University but actually a hidden/spoofed number that pretends to be Ryerson's number.Some kid on the other end swearing at me and laughing.

I told the caller my daughter has been move out no longer live here. Still keep on calling!

Love it! WIll give it a try. Just got a call from that number and did recognize it as being Ryersons. They hung p when I answered though

I got calls from this number too....I've already graduated from university and I didn't go to Ryerson...Those guys are crazy...
