Have had a number of calls from this number in Jan 2010.  No one leaves a voice message and no one answers if I pick up as I did just now at 10:20 am.

sounds like it tries to send fax. Does anyone know which company is it?

The number is used by discount carrier for overseas calls.!!!!!!!!!!!!! THATS WHY IT WILL BE DIFFERENT COMPANIES CALLING YOU CUZ ITS A SHADOW NUMBER TO HIDE THE REAL ID OF THE CALLER!!!!
Mine was for Harris Bank to confirm my credit.... Later called the number back, not in service- makes sense if its a mask#.

As they were leaving a message tonight, the fire alarms went off in the background.  The lady was only able to say it was a message for me then dropped the phone.  Maybe they(whoever they are) won't be able to call anyone after tonight.
