I got their call today. Spoke to the woman who called. She was looking for another person. When I told her there's no such person, she asked whether she called my phone number, I said yes. This is when she tells me that she's calling on behalf of some organization "Feed the Children". She asks whether I've watched the news recently about what's happening in Haiti and that they have an office in Port-au-Prince. Wanted to know how much I would like to donate. I don't like cold calls. I don't donate to unknown organizations. I'm also on a DO NOT CALL list. I don't think she was too happy with me when I said no.

Get calls from this number 5 to 10 times per day, at all hours, even weekends. No one speaks when I answer it, no one answers when I call it, so I can't tell them to stop calling.

They wanted a donation so they could provide a family with a goat !!!!I thought it was a joke.

Its not BS.  It really is Feed the Children.  From Oxfam.  Its legit.  They have a GST registration number.

This number calls me numerous times and at all times of the day and they never leave a message.  They are very annoying.  I have never tried to call them back.  Thanks to this site, I can see other people share my frustration.

Canadian Feed the Children IS a reputable group.  That's not who's calling you!
