I too received a message from Anna from a moving company. I returned their call and they answered as "MCTAVISH LOGISTICS". I asked if they maintained a do not call list, specifically the newer Canada wide do not call list (of which I am a member) and they responded that they did and they update it weekly. The representative was professional and offered to take my number and add it to their list manually to ensure that I do not receive further calls.  

Given the circumstances this seems fair to me, a mistake was made and they took appropriate actions to correct it. However, I am a little hesitant to engage into business with a company that uses automated devices to call large amounts of people saying to phone 'Anna from a moving company'.

I too have be hounded with phone calls from "Anna from the Moving Compnay" aka McTavish Logistics.  I have called numerous times (long distance for me) to ask to have my name and number removed from their calling list.  The "receptionsist" has always been quite snarky and rude with me, but this last time was the worst.  She hung up on me saying that I was rude because I was trying to tell her how invasive and unsettling it is to be constantly hounded by their unsolicited phone calls.  They have refused to answer my subsequent phone calls.  I can find no legally registered business in Ontario.  How can I get this number blocked from my phone?  DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH MCTAVISH LOGISTICS - they are truly unprofessional.

Got a call from Anna -- called them back and left a voicemail indicating that it is against the law to block called ID and call display information when calling from a business (if ever in my opinion), and it is indicative of shoddy business practices.Filed a complaint online with the Canadian Do Not Call List.Tried to file a complaint with the BBB, but their web site kept producing errors half way through the complaint process.

I registered with the DNCL and have had fewer calls since. Still get ones like this, though: part of the message is "cut off" and all that's left is the phone # (416) 848-8891...

Called on my cell in Toronto. No body spoke for a while and then a recorded message came on. Same Anna from moving company. But the Caller ID (18018215981) displayed is different than call back number in the recorded message (416) 848-8891). I am on Canadian DNC.
