I told them I dont have family that needs to claim my life insurance, and have prearraged my funeral, and that I dont bank at a bank. They shut up, but still call. :(

They called me at around 9:30pm on a weekday in Ottawa... I didn't give them a chance to tell me who they were. When they mispronounced my name I hung up. Also when I picked up, it's as if I was calling them, some kind of queue. No waay this is a legitimate call on behalf of Scotiabank. What company calls after 5 pm?? I would believe that this is a scam.

They called last night and woke us up. They wanted my spouse whom I said was unavailable. They said they were Scotiabank and as I was expecting a call from them ref another issue I wanted to see if that's what they were calling for but they said it was new product only for my spouse. Makes my want to change banks. But they are all the same.

I answer they hang up.  weird... from all the people commenting that it has something to do with scotiabank, I'm a little sketched out. =/

your telephone company is as responsible as this telemarketing company. When I  laid a complaint with Northern Telephone they said there was nothing they could do.  Amazing, how two phone company employees tried to sell me a  bundle with call block at my expense of course.   Where is our government ?On another holiday I guess.

I dont want any calls from this number again. Why are they harrasing people at random? Im with scotiabank since 1999, If I need something Ill do it myself, so stop calling me for your stupid offers.
