I told them I dont have family that needs to claim my life insurance, and have prearraged my funeral, and that I dont bank at a bank. They shut up, but still call. :(

Got a call from this number, but I knew it was no one that I knew because they couldn't pronounce my name correctly when they asked for me.  And my name is a WASP name that is very easy to pronounce.... so I hung up on the female that asked for me as soon as I heard her mispronounce my name.  Interesting that the other persons getting calls from this number have already determined that it is a FRAUD call regarding Scotiabank insurance.

Scotia Bank, thay call several times a day. When I do answer, nobody there, makes me wonder why they even bother calling since they don`t wish to speak to me. F them!

OPTIMA IS HIRED TO CALL ALL SCOIA BANK CUSTOMERS....... HEALTH <LIFE AND ACCIDENTAL DEATH> insurance due to legislation reasons cannot be sold through the branches as it takes away the competiton with private insurance companies  and alot of people dont have insurance, are not adequitly covered and their immediate families are not covered as well so the type of insurance they are selling coveres you from all angels it also insures that u have financial security for you and ur family if something goes wrong and ur hospitalized , loseing wages everyday and ur saving suffer , so these types of insurance gives u and ur family piece of mind if a serious accident or illness occurs!!! they are there to benifit you and make sure that u are covered from all angles! if you have other insurance then all those inclustions exclusions and infe print which can barr u from recieveing coverage are covered because most of their plans will cover you with a cash lump sum that you or your covered family members can use to help pay for things that insurance doesnt ususally cover!! like the bills , themortgagae payment, rent saves you from having to scrambel around trying to find money or take any loans or anything liek to pay for things that may have come up while u where seriously injurered in the hospital or accedntally died ur family and you have the simple pleasure of knowing that if anything where to happen the grief will be a little less because there is a lumpsum of case to use !!
