I've received the faxes. They have a removal number that is connected to a clever system that removes your number only from a single ad 'campaign', so that they can look like they are meeting legal requirements, while protecting their master list for future campaigns. They also list the removal website 'nothx.com' and I did a 'whois' search, and they are owned by a company called 'activecore technologies'. Trying to navigate their website is implossible because of 'login' requirements, but from the whois record, their phone number is (416) 252-6200 ext. 314 - I don't feel like calling long distance, but if anyone in Toronto wants to give it a try....

I would like to identify the person or company behind this number so that I can get them to stop phoning me.
