Professional Fundraising canvassers. They call on behalf of organizations who give them the membership list to canvass. Unfortunately this is annoying but legal, as organizations you belong to are exempt from the no-call list. You'll have to tell those organizations you have a relationship with directly not to call you or just not give them your telephone number.

Hi everybody! well, i know this number too - and so many others... there would be an easy way to deal with this, really! mandate that all phone-carriers install a *666 (or whatever) service. if you get called by a nuisance-caller, hang-up and dial *666. have the carriers count the nuisance complaints, if somebody who makes more than 100 calls a day (presumably a business) gets 10% or more of called people who dial *666 after receiving that call, have that caller disconnected automatically and premanently the same day! just mandate it and the phone companies will be perfectly capable to install it :-) works like "call screen add last number" or "call trace". ah, and don't forget to make the politicians mandate the service TO BE FREE OF CHARGE :-)

this number called left no message checked the number out it goes to a call
centre do not answer if you get a call from them.

I called this number back and the VM said "Canadian Shooting Sports" so if any of you are firearm owners this might have to do with the LGR.

If there's any power to be had in numbers of complaints - I have also received countless calls from this number.

Called today Sept. 21, 2010 at 12:45 p.m. Nothing on call display but the number. No msg. left. After reading these posts will block the number on my phone.
