I got same letter and same check same phone number. 12 18 12. Have attorney checking it out. Louisville ky. They think i`ll fall for the $1,875. 00 tax payment so i can get the big award prize $125,000. 00. This is a criminal deception.

The day after Thanksgiving I received a letter from some outfit called World Financial Group in Toronto telling me I had won $125,000 in the International Shoppers Lotto Powerball.  A check payable to me for $3,875 came with the letter.  The letter indicated I had to call (416) 827-5265 before depositing or cashing the check which was drawn on a bank in Wisconsin.    The whole thing smelled like a scam so I went to my bank to get their opinion.  The bank officer agreed.  To anyone else who has received a similar letter, take a very close look at the check that accompanies the letter.  You have to look very carefully but in the check's background field you'll see the word VOID printed in several places.

They sent this to the wrong person. I hired a Computer Savy PI who has tracked the fakes sending these documents and a legitimate contrat killer to eliminate the person in charge of this immoral scam stealing the money of hard earned American citizen; like my mother.  My laywer found a way to classify them as economical terrorist; meaning its legal...  Let this be a message for any out there who think they can make money like this.

I received same letter noticed on check brian steele on enevelope stamp from canda with TD bank fifnacial services a lot of different companies did not call as of yet? Almost did thou looks pretty good for check...be careful...read comments and decided not to call....thank u
