Same story: send him copies of listings and picks one out in minutes, and offers buyfull price-----well, youknow the rest Jackson's checks are like a three dollar bill. Beware!!

Just came across this thread. A few years ago (March/April 2010) I received a similar email from a "Wu Gregoery" wanting to buy a $100,000,000 condo from me sight unseen. It sounded fishy from the start but I told them (standard procedure) they'd have to send a contract deposit for $10,000 (10% of the purchase price) to lock in the property. After some back and forth emails, they soon sent me a (fake) check from AXA Insurance (CANADA) for $96,000! "Mr. Green Sound" was the alleged account manager. The explanation for the BIG $86,000 difference was (and here's the best part) the that they wanted me to purchase for them:"Chinese home style furniture, Chinese style home entertainment, Chinese home decoration and Chinese kitchen appliance in Japan that I will be bringing to this property I love my tradition and I want my home to look like little China Mansion."Cracks me up every time I re-read the emails!

Yup came to me through Trulia this guy or team of guys used the name "Wu Qian a Japan origin" funny enough-many misspellings and grammatical errors-dead give away just like the Nigerian Scammers wanted to buy $500k of property sight unseen...thank god for google and this site-had our broker and attorney fooled...

"Got an email from Otake Iwao claiming to want to buy property anywhere in SC. I sent him some listing to look at and in 5 minutes he picked one and wanted to buy it unseen and wanted a bunch of information on where his deposit would be deposited. He had an account manager and said he wanted funds available before he arrived in 4 weeks."I received the same email on May 27. I am a Realtor as well. Definitely a SCAM! Watch out!
