had enough with him telling me how hes gonna f*** my mother. i made an appointment the next time he called, my idea was to get the number off his truck but numbers were missing647.....28, i did get the licence number so if this continues i will call police

I have received numerous calls from these types of companies. Today I informed Daniel (he had an Indian accent) from Bright Home Services that I am on the Do Not Call List and I was not interested in having my ducts cleaned and not to call again (I usually say this). He told me to hang up and he would call again. I told him NO! not to call again. He continued to ask me to hang up so he could call me back and I repeated that I did not want him to call back. Finally I hung up and guess what. He called right back.  Then I got angry and yelled at him to not call back and hung up. I think he finally got the message.  Either he is really stupid or they employ someone who doesn't understand English to try to sell something - that's also stupid.I submitted a complaint to the CRTC - DO Not Call List Complaint section (Website)

HOW TO STOP ALL CALLS........ & CATCH THEM*************************************************************(This will work if we ALL do it)?Keep a Pad and Pen next to phone?Everytime they call write down the following       ?Date & Time of Call       ?Ask Company name & persons name  that is calling you       ? Get their address & Phone number       ? Check ?Call Display? and write the # down that is in the display because not always          the same as what they say they are calling from       ? After the call is finished, hang up the phone then pick it up again (the same line you just                 spoke on on your phone,..... key in ( * 57 ).  This will allow the Police to trace who is                     calling you.Keep a record of all the above and then contact the Police (from a phone that is not in your house) to report it.    The Police can now trace this call.

call (416) 800-0798 or (416) 628-1070after a year of reasearch to find out who these indian duct cleaning companies are.the above number is the landline to the main calling center in which these calls are coming fromcontact them and complain or contact your lower or police to complainyou are welcome!!!

Had similar experience.  Caller from (416) 800-1009 with accent who said his name was eric.  Talked for a long time before asking me anything.  Asked if he could set up appointment.  Wanted to know why I wouldn't.  Told him I don't disclose any information to unsolicated callers.  After some further discussion he ended with "Go f$%@ yourself you son of a b&%$#@." and hung up.

Got a call from the same company two minutes later (the number ended in slightly different 2 digits).  The caller started the same pitch.  I told him I just had a call which did not go well from the same company.  He put a supervisor on the line and I related the incident to him.  I also learned that he was calling from Bright Home Services.  He claimed he would look into it and that I would not get a call back any more.

We are also on the do not call list.
