Next time they call I'll be telling them that I'd love to have my ducts cleaned. And then I'll give them the address for the local police station. :)

I have been having the same harrassing phone calls.  Last one from (416) 800-0240. I have told them over and over to stop calling.  I have literally screamed at them.  I think they are doing it more as a joke to harrass people than to actually get business.  We should all make an appointment for them to come over to clean the ducts and then clean their ducts.  However I think that they will probably demand a credit card number in order to make the appointment - and this is where they'll get you.  My niece has the same problem.  Last night the guy was very rude to her and kept calling.  She called the police and the officer told her she has the same calls and suggested she unplug the phone for a while. She has two children who became scared at the constant harrassing calls.  I have written to the CRTC about other calls - windows and doors and they seem to have eased off.  I will now write to the CRTC and cc my MP. I suggest you all do the same.

Ya it's a telemarketer for duct cleaning

Some idiot called n told me my neighbour gve him my number for duct cleaning reference.. my neighbour doesn't hve my number.. i told him to stop BSing me n add me to their do not call list n hung up. He had the audacity to call right away n threaten me tht he will send police n sue me.. wht a piece of $hit.. scum bag..

I have had several calls this week and last from the same man with an east-indian accent, regarding air duct cleaning.  I have told him repeatedly to take me off his call list. One time after I hung up he called me right back and started immediately with his sales pitch. I have registered with the DO NOT CALL service but this doesn't seem to matter. Is this bordering on harrassment?  How can I get this pest to stop calling me?
