I've been dealing with these folks for a while. I believe it's a company that calls themselves the Credit Bureau of Canada (tries to make them sound more official). THey're a last ditch collections agency where everyone else has given up. I'm settling my mom's affairs and have been having a tough time with them.  In Canada, when you "write' to a collections company and request to have all communication in writing...they have to (by law)... stop calling.

person has called numerous times. asked for a person that does not reside here. informed them this person does not reside here. Male called said fine he will call me Monday. I said Why" and he replied this is the number he had been given for this person. I told him to screw off. What an idiot!

No idea, but this number when I call it back is out of service.

This caller is a liar. Try to say it was a banking business.  Then tried to said that I was a contact number making it seen that it was a application form for some kind of credit.  These people mus be train to lie. She call 3 time in 10 minutes, and stil get the hint that the person she looking for  is not here and I do not know where he is and I do not have any phone number.  Maybe she look into the legal end of collection.
