This number is for TCR or Bernard Gassee who is a debt collector. They'll harrass the hell out of you and tell you anything to make you pay. NEVER pay a settlement amount without getting a settlement letter in writing before you pay a dime. If nit they'll just say that its a payment against the whole balance. Their "agents" are largely under-educated mouthpieces who wok for $10-12 bucks an hour plus commission on what they get from you. Remember, they buy these debts for pennies on the dollar and reap the reward. Look out for a Ms. Thomas, she's a psycho, real piece of work. STAY CLEAR of these people.

I had a call from this number aswell and he was asking for personal information like my date of birth and phone number and I told him he was a moron because he obviously had my phone number and I hung upon him

Collection Agencies are not law firms or government agencies but individuals who attempt to recover debt owed on behalf of third parties. Collection Agencies are regulated by the Provincial Government in the province they operate. In most cases you must serve notice by fax or registered letter advising the Collection's Company from contacting you any further. Once served it is an offence under law for the Collections Agency or it's representatives to contact you further.

this number called, a woman was on the other end asking for me by my legal name, saying it was a legal personal business matter and that it was urgent and she needed to speak with said person. she would not disclose anything, nor her name or place of calling from.

they called me saying i was going to jail for something i dont even have
