hello i am located in toronto canada and for the past
4 months have been getting repeated calls from the following number.
I purchsed call display and find it strange that '1' for long distanceshows up on the local
416 number which i reside in.

These are the numbers that have been calling me repeatedly and either hanging up or fronting themselfs as
ROGERS cable, or some type of Windows/Doors company:

I have searched all these numbers and found all these phone nubmers are reportedly doing
the same thing to other people on the internet.

Research has indicated that there is some type of call center that calls people (such as us)
and once you pick up someone at their centre also picks up and trys to get some info or is
actually hired to sell a product /service. They seem to be doing  a poor job as many times
they hang up or dont speak, or get confused and just laugh then hangup.

This business/es need to be identified so that they can be stoped. I have gotten up to 6 calls a day
totalling 20-30 a week at random times of the day and evening. I've seen many posts on the internet
with people complaining and reporting online of this harassment but have yet to see anything done

WHATS THE NEXT STEP??

This company has phoned my home every day, often twice per day, for several months. Hoping to get them to stop calling, I started answering the calls, but there was never a voice at the other end of the line. I had already deduced that this must be a poorly run call centre.Thanks to this website, and to whoever posted as "Ladies and Gents I give you the answer," I have just phoned 2 the point global Marketing at (416) 736-0699 and asked to have my number removed from the list. I really hope this works.

I have four types of cancer with one of them being terminal. I am harrassed 4 or 5 times a day which is detrimental to my health. Can i sue these people for for spoiling my life enjoyment for what little time i have left. I am 84 years old and both nmmy wife and self are disabled. Is there some way we can put a stop to these calls from (416) 665-1377? Could a vigilanty group be formed to physically take care of these inconsiderate thugs. I am too old, but could not a group of physically young men do this.
