hello i am located in toronto canada and for the past 4 months have been getting repeated calls from the following number.I purchsed call display and find it strange that '1' for long distanceshows up on the local416 number which i reside in.These are the numbers that have been calling me repeatedly and either hanging up or fronting themselfs asROGERS cable, or some type of Windows/Doors company:1-+1 800-493-13041-+1 866-709-13291-410-774-84061-616-980-25221-+1 888-248-55541-+1 866-319-11181-310-455-6048(416) 665-13771-416-188-82311-623-238-6131I have searched all these numbers and found all these phone nubmers are reportedly doingthe same thing to other people on the internet.Research has indicated that there is some type of call center that calls people (such as us)and once you pick up someone at their centre also picks up and trys to get some info or isactually hired to sell a product /service. They seem to be doing  a poor job as many timesthey hang up or dont speak, or get confused and just laugh then hangup.This business/es need to be identified so that they can be stoped. I have gotten up to 6 calls a daytotalling 20-30 a week at random times of the day and evening. I've seen many posts on the internetwith people complaining and reporting online of this harassment but have yet to see anything doneWHATS THE NEXT STEP??

Just called "Mike" at 416-416-736-0699. They don't identify themselves when they answer. The Conversations went like this:Mike: Hello, Mike speaking.Me: Hi, Is this 2 the Point Marketing?Mike: Yes.Me: Mike, I need you to add me to your do not call list. Can you do this?Mike: Ofcourse, give me a second......what's your phone number?Me: 905-xxx-xxxxMike: Mr. Smith?Me: Yes.Mike: Okay, you're number is out of our system...sorry for the inconvenience.Me: Thank You, Goodbye.Simple as can be.

I receive calls from this number at least twice a week. There is never anyone at the other end of the phone. This has gone on for at least four months.Fortunately, the calls only come during the day.

How about we get together a bunch of us and start bugging our local politicians to get off their fat ..... and create legislation to stop these tele/fax marketters.  I think as long as we do nothing these morons will keep bugging us.  In my experience when you ask them to remove you from a list they add you to another.

Insane society we live in.  Were all to busy being politically correct to see comon sense anymore....

After I did install the calling ID feather, which I found this number (416) 665-1377 keep calling couple time everyday for no voice??????

I got a call from this number a few minutes ago. It is constantly busy.
