Thanks for the information. Similar situation to those above, got a marketing call from a windows and doors place. I am normally quite polite and patient with telephone solicitors. This guy was so idiotic that I actually lost patience. Thanks to "Ladies and gents I give you the Answer - 28 Jan 2008" for the contact information. I called the number and spoke to Dillon's replacement. They said they would take me off the list.

i also have been getting these phone calls except for when i anwser and say "hello" they wait about 10 secs and then say hello whats your name? how old are you? and i just hang up, this happeneds about twice a day everyday and its very creepy!
this must be some sort of harassment especially if all of us keep getting these calls. Do they ever say anything to other people??

Maybe it is some strange way to push us to buy the *60 phone number blocker? What do you think? If it is the case it is illigal for Bell or Rogers to do it!

these numbers buy you're information from third parties, like if you use facebook applications any info you have put on your account name email and phone number will be sold to telemarketersdon't give your info to anyone, even if they just have one piece like you're last name or your email they can find out a lot of stuff about you, what you buy, who you call, it's messed up.call the number back, and if they pick up tell them you want your number off the list
