Thanks for the information. Similar situation to those above, got a marketing call from a windows and doors place. I am normally quite polite and patient with telephone solicitors. This guy was so idiotic that I actually lost patience.

Thanks to "Ladies and gents I give you the Answer - 28 Jan 2008" for the contact information. I called the number and spoke to Dillon's replacement. They said they would take me off the list.

Bell Canada recently won a bid to start a national do not call list that all call centres must follow. You need to watch the Bell web site or the news for details - it will be available later this year. You only have to put your number with them once (and renew it every so often) and it should limit or reduce these annoying calls. What you do about those that ignore the list and still call I do not know!

Just called Dillon and asked to remove my phone number from their list. See what happens. He was very polite.

I receive calls from this number at least twice a week. There is never anyone at the other end of the phone. This has gone on for at least four months.

Fortunately, the calls only come during the day.

I just called the Operator. If you do *60 and follow the instructions, for $1.00 that number will not be able to get through to your home. After reading all these emails first (thank you) I called 2thepoint and they said I would be on the 'do not call' list in 2 minutes.Lets see if this works. If not, I will pay the $1 to block their calls!
