Some guy called saying to press 1 to receive my complimentary gift.  I hit 1 to tell the idiot to "$#%@" off.  Then there was dead air.  About 5 seconds later my doorbell rings, I don't answer because I was just about to step into the shower, then the doorbell rings again followed by a series of knocks on the door.What are these idiots doing, standing outside my door and if I pressed any number they would have rang my doorbell?  Crafty B*****ds!!!!

They called again and my mom picked up, luckily I was home and told her to hang up and I finally said mom hang up it's a scam.

The lady said my parents name and then said I'm calling on behalf of comcast.  We hung up then.

Right after that another number came up as +1 800-860-0412.  On the caller id it says 800 number.

This is getting agitating, because I've been getting a lot of these calls.

I just got a call from this number and the person was like "HELLO, do you speak Chinese?", no joke.Needless to say I hung up.I tried calling it back and it was a dial tone, as though the # didn't exist!

Its either a skype number or calling card number. Got a call today and this number came up and I didnt answer. It was my brother calling from Afghanistan as he is in the Air Force. He left a message. Boy do I feel like an idiot for not answering!

This is seriously annoying, today I got a call from +40555600842 on my cell phone at 11:09, I was asleep, luckily with my ringer on very low, obviously I didn't wake up to answer it, at 11:10 and 11:11 I got calls from a private caller, then an unknown number at 11:12, at 11:14, our friend at (416) 646-3601 called, and then at 11:15, a caller from 662-505-2872, I finally woke up at 11:18 when another private caller called. At that time I looked at my phone and saw all the missed calls, no messages though. How do these people manage to find my phone number, and why do they feel that calling 7 times in 7 minutes is going to get a response?
I tried to trace the numbers, the unknowns and privates didn't work out, but the first call was from a caller calling through Romtelecom in Romania, but calling through the provider from outside of the country. I literally don't know any person or have any connection to anything remotely Romanian. The area is Caras-Severin, which includes Transylvania. Perhaps it's Dracula.
The next number that came up, the 662 number originated from Mississipi or Memphis, Tennessee. I'm a Tennessee Titans fan, but otherwise I have no link to either of these places either.
Finally, of course our favourite caller, the one at 646-3601, called in between.

Has anyone received a REAL phone call from any of these numbers?
