For the record - I USED TO BE IN THE COLLECTION INDUSTRY - I know Brian personally and would like to share some comments to those taking jabs at A-1 CRCS.   Since you people are so smart think about this: -   Why would the President of a collection agency make these calls?  He has call center people do this for him. - Of all the agencies in Ontario (I have worked for more than one) A-1 is likely THE most stringent in towing the line on the Ontario Collection Act.   They're not doing anything against the law or regulation.  If you really think they're in the wrong get them to pull the tape - ALL CALLS ARE RECORDED. - If you have a ticket outstanding, why would you blame the agency for doing their job?  If you don't want them calling you, pay the fine.  Most of us reasonable people that pay taxes support this.This agency is very stable too for the record, the next time someone wants to throw around bad information I would first be careful about making personal jabs to the owner...duh, they own an agency that FINDS people for a living.   Do you not think the owner can't locate you and tie you up in court for deformation of character?

I never answer calls from Numbers I don't Recognize.  This one has Phoned more than a few times.  Its Annoying!

This number belongs to A1 Credit Recovery & Collection Services Inc. They also use 1-+1 866-706-1342 when they are calling outside of the 416 area. Their address is 3500 Dufferin St, Suite 403, Toronto, ON, M3K 1N2.If you want to fax or email them, you'll look long and hard and not find anything because they assiduously try to hide their fax number and email address.  You can fax the president, Brian Cherry, at (416) 638-6867, or email him at brian.cherry @ a1crcs.com.  Tonight I faxed and emailed a cease call letter because they are using automated recorded calls to harass me at home.  These calls do not identify the calling company or the reason for the call.  The recorded message demands a return call to the 1-866 number above. I have a personal policy of never calling back anyone I don't know, but I figured out who the caller is by googling the number. Vonage has A1 Credit Recovery after me for a charge that I never authorized. Stay away from Vonage!  Terrible, mean-spirited customer service, and total unwillingness to accept that their service does not work in every situation.

its A1 CREDIT RECOVERY...THEY ARE A SHADY COLLECTION AGENCY...CALL THE MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE OWNERS AND THE COLLECTORS...THEY DONT HAVE A VALID COLLECTORS LICENSE...DO IT OR THE CALLS WILL CONTINUE...TRUST ME
