I have been getting calls several times daily and we are fed up. this is only one of the annoying calls we get. We do not answer these calls, so just take us off your call list.

Stop call me pick up one time. There must be a way to get there phone cut

I am getting calls from this number at least 6 or 7 times a day. I do not want any subscription to any newspaper. I am thinking of changing my phone number.

I went back and read the Do Not Call list rules. Newspaper subscription companies are exempt from the rules. Charities too. Oh, well, at least some of the annoying people have been stopped.

NCC, I have learned,  stands for Newspaper Calling Centre. They do work on behalf of various daily papers, offering different features and enhancements. They called today, and there was someone actually on the line. They offered to E-mail me some exclusive articles and columns for a price.

They called today, selling a subscription to Sunday only Toronto Sun.When I said no, his hackles were raised and demanded a reason as it would only cost me 1.49 a week.  I told him that I was not interested in a Toronto paper as I do not haunt the city more than once a year, if that.  He went ballistic and informed me that it was full of national news, political news etc and it was my DUTY to stay aprised of the current events.  I let him blow and then quietly said, I prefer my own newspaper which surprisingly is full of the same things.  Then I hung up.

When I answered there was no one there so I hung up.

I love Them!They helped me tiume and time again when all my "degrees" my "experience" in "my      various careers let me down.So I am selling newspapers. YeHTo be a Registered Nurse again, although there is a great need for that, I have to pay major $$$$$$ to re-register.To be a Social Worker, my other degree, they are lined up with the MSW"S etc , and, who cares about my experience in that field.So, THANKS to the NCC, I have a job!Before you cast stones, it would serve you to to look at all the disabled, aged, etc. etc that the NCC and others like them allow to havew some dignity.I hope they are still around when your wonderful place bites the dust.PS I hang up on telemarketers too, so, don't feel guilty! It's my karma! TEE HEE HEE! LOL
