Fake debt consolidation call; called at my cell phone and used up my minutes!

i live in vancouver, and these idiots called me 3 x in 1 minute.. must have hit the redial number.  so much for the no call list.   why don't these jerks get shut down?  does the legislation mean nothing?

Scam, intention is to collect financial information for the purpose of defrauding victims and engaging in identity theft. Modus Operandi, claims to be a debt consolidation firm, claims to be lender, requests all financial data from victim after presenting false credentials.

i got a call on my cell from these people, most likely a scam as many here have said. A while back i had removed voice messaging from my cell so they cant leave a message either.i hope they choke on the long distance charges!
