I received a call from this number today, a recording as everybody says, Some info about a national debt crisis and if you owe $10,000 or more.

I'm in the do not call list and I've received several calls from these people

Rec'd on my cellphone.  Automated dialer with recording starting with "due to a national economic crisis..."

Just got a call from this number. Something about economic crisis and $10,000 of debt.
Hung up after that.
Where are these people getting our numbers from?!? I never used to get these stupid calls.

Relentless... Have received this to my cell phone, home phone, work phone (both lines) and the other day I got into the ELEVATOR at work and the stupid message was playing through the emergency speaker in the elevator!! How are they getting these numbers?! Everyone I know is getting this call multiple times per day.

If you type (416) 628-5255 into google,  one of the results  (Third one on the list) you get is  http://www.numberinvestigator.com/4166285255  Click on that  and when the website appears, scroll down and you?ll see , under ?Complaints?,  comments from people, and under their comment,  a clickable box that says   ? 4166285255 (, ON) ? VIEW DETAILS?  Click on that box  and among the info that comes up is Company Name:GT GROUP TELECOM SERVICES CORPORATION Put that   company name into google and you get  this URL http://www.profilecanada.com/companydetail.cf ... Corp_Toronto_ON   which leads you to a site called Profile Canada  which gives contact info for  GT GROUP TELECOM SERVICES CORPORATION including a website  ...  www.gt.caClick on   www.gt.ca  and you find Bell Canada?s logo all over it !Is Bell Canada behind these telemarketing calls?

I have literally been receiving calls from this company at least once a day, sometimes more, for months now. Looking at my call history for the last week I have gotten 10 calls. In 7 days! They are using various 1.800 numbers, often from las Vegas, Washington, or sometimes unknown. Always the same message "due to the recent economic crisis". Since its random numbers, I can't just block them, but it's annoying as hell. I'll add my name to the complaint list now that we seem to know who it is, although I don't suspect it will do much. I'll also urge as many people as I can to do the same.
