I got this stupid call "due to a national economic crisis..." on my cellphone last week and on my office phone yesterday.

Hi I know where they are getting your phone numbers simply because I got a call from them too and the number they used only 3 people have the number. It is on the Magic Jack system so not a public number and it came 30 minutes after I applied a free sample or a contest on a few internet sites that require a mandatory phone number. I have also gotten a call once or twice on my cell phone. I don't pick up the phone unless it gives me a name of the person and I have set my phone to give a different ring for unsaved calls. Once the call is finished I look at the number and either do a reverse search or check from a land line. Once I detemine that the number is telemarketing I go to the my missed calls section and save it with the caption "DO NOT ANSWER TELEMARKETING" and as I always look at my home before I answer it they only get phone mail and have to pay for a call I don't answer.

I received same calls almost every day. I file complaint to CRTC Canada. But they need many complaints filed in order to take action. So anyone who received call from this number should go to CRTC site and report as a complaint. More complaint filed, sooner action will be taken. Help yourselves help others.

They have been calling my company since the beginning of December. They've now started calling using different phone numbers, including private numbers. I have even seen "0" come up on the call display.These calls are VERY irritating! Like I said, they've been calling my company. It disrupts important phone calls I'll be in with clients and when I check the voicemail in the morning, it wastes a good 1-5 minutes of my time since it will leave 1-8 messages EVERY day on the voicemail! I'm getting sick of this! This place needs to be shut down ASAP!

Just got a call to my cell phone from this number --- on Dec 5, 2012 ---- A recorded message saying if .."I had over $10,000 in credit debt...." I hung up. I'm on the WIND Phone network and have never got a telemarketing call on this line until today.

Just like everyone here, I just got this call on my cellphone. I don't know how they got my cell. Something's definitely fishy going around.
