Got this call seconds ago, hanged up,thanks for the messages ahead.

Just got a call from this number. They left a message:National Economic CrisisIf you have $10,000 or more in debtFree Debt ConsultantConsolidate DebtPress 1 to speak to someonePress 2 to be removed from our list

Got same "due to a national economic crisis..."
on both home and cell phones.
Definitely a spam. I reported it to Email: info @ antifraudcentre.ca

Please if significant part of those who got a spam will report, authorities will do something!
This caller is annoying and behaived as illegal criminal.
No one picked a return call !

I've put my number on the national do-not-call phone list but still get annoying calls & messages from annoying scammers like this. I listened to their entire message; they don't name the company but claim to be helpful at clearing your debts. I left a message expressly indicating my displeasure at receiving their unwanted message and told them not to call again. We'll see if they do or not.Why can't we stop these morons from tying up our phone lines? I guess our government is pretty ineffectual.

Just got this call on work phone.

It's a call about debt consolidation. Not sure if it's a scam, but most likely not the most legit.

Anyway, listen to the message and then press '2' to be "removed from the list". Not sure if you can press 2 sooner.

Also go to https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/index-eng that's the national do not call list. register your number, and report this number as well. They can get heavy fines if they continue to call you.
