They weren't ASKING for $10 000. They asked if you have $10 000 in debt and were offering free debt counselling. Still not something I'm interested in but, nobody was ASKING you for anything.

Telemarketing or debt consolidation b***s***. Automated message starts out ""due to a national economic crisis"...and then spews some b***s*** about if you have $10,000 or more in debt blah blah blah. I hung up. I've probably gotten this call at least 4 times now. Bunch of a**hole motherf***ers. Hope their company goes bankrupt and their CEO gets stung by a bee on his a**. Bunch of b***hes.

Hi I know where they are getting your phone numbers simply because I got a call from them too and the number they used only 3 people have the number. It is on the Magic Jack system so not a public number and it came 30 minutes after I applied a free sample or a contest on a few internet sites that require a mandatory phone number. I have also gotten a call once or twice on my cell phone. I don't pick up the phone unless it gives me a name of the person and I have set my phone to give a different ring for unsaved calls. Once the call is finished I look at the number and either do a reverse search or check from a land line. Once I detemine that the number is telemarketing I go to the my missed calls section and save it with the caption "DO NOT ANSWER TELEMARKETING" and as I always look at my home before I answer it they only get phone mail and have to pay for a call I don't answer.

I deleted the message as soon as I heard an unfamiliar announcement voice. If I find out who's behind this nonsense I will have nothing to do with them.
