Just got this call on work phone.

It's a call about debt consolidation. Not sure if it's a scam, but most likely not the most legit.

Anyway, listen to the message and then press '2' to be "removed from the list". Not sure if you can press 2 sooner.

Also go to https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/index-eng that's the national do not call list. register your number, and report this number as well. They can get heavy fines if they continue to call you.

It's a telemarketer. - if you wait and press #2 you'll be taken off their call list. At least, that's what they say.

I received a call from this number today, a recording as everybody says, Some info about a national debt crisis and if you owe $10,000 or more.I'm in the do not call list and I've received several calls from these people

Same as others have mentioned...Rec'd on my cellphone.  Automated dialer with recording starting with "due to a national economic crisis..."

Same as everyone. Called to my cell today, Friday, December 02, 2011.Just hate those telemarketer that spam my cell.

Same thing.  Get it several times a day.  I have several cell phones, all unlisted and I get the message on every one of them.  I even got it at work through my PBX the other day.  The government needs to investigate this...it is a serious offense.
