1. register all your numbers on Canada Do Not Call list, for what it's worth (NOT MUCH: 100000+ complaints, 197 investigations, $75000 fines imposed, $250 collected)
2. spread the word
3. keep an eye on ioptout.ca (Michael Geist's list to force the currently exempted spammers - POLITICIANS, CHARITIES, NEWSPAPERS!!! - to cease & desist, should be up & running again in Jan 2012.

This a scam and they should be reported to the police immediately which is exactly what we will do. 5 friends of mine have reported getting this message from them.There has got to be a law against this type of practice. Called the last 2 days. May 2&3 2012. Didn't pick up, they didn't leave a message. I'm glad the do not call registry is working out so well. My home phone is constantly inundated with Duct Cleaning Service and Home Phone offers. What a joke!

Report them to the CRTC. Find their website. There is a form to submit complaints about BS calls like this.
