I got the same call from this number but I never picked up the phone to answer it. I have caller's ID in our phone and we don't answer callers that don't have the caller ID appear on our phone. I remember getting a visit from somebody and talked about energy conservation as mentioned by others who got this kind of call. Fortunately, I did not bother to answer their call and it is nice to know that this is a call from these guys trying to convince us to enter into something we haven't clarified with.

Caller asks for my husband by name - I say he's not in, can I take a message - he says no he'll call back later.Never leaves a message

These guys are from summitt energy. the guy who came to our door the day after we moved in mislead us by saying that he was from enbridge even showed a badge that looked like one of enbridges. turns out he was tryiong to lock us into a 5 year fixed rate gas contract......A**HOLES

Same message - keep getting calls from this number all through day including weekends - never leaves message.  I now see it appears to be Summit Gas or the like trying to lock you into a contract.  Is there anyway to block these types of calls??

This phone number is someone calling from Summit Energy, or Summit Gas - they are trying to get you to use them instead of your current supplier - likely Enbridge. I had read up on them abit and it seems no one really has anything nice to say about them. They came to our door - THE DAY WE MOVED IN to our new house (june 27th) - and were VERY misleading - the guy told my husband he was with Enbridge and my husband signed the papers (just trying to get the guy out of the way so we could continue moving in). I worked for a phone company that used to do that when Bell first lost the rights to the full market - and knew it was a scam. I got my husband to call and tell them to cancel it right away - they said someone would call back in ten days.
A guy just called me 5 minutes ago - I told him we were not signing up - they were misleading and he tried to change my mind. I had to tell him 3 times that I was at work and would call him later - he said he would call me and then I hung up.
