Yup, I just got a call from a heavy accented man...caller ID = Spider Spider and he claimed he was from Bell Mobility. He sounded like he was calling from a cell phone, on the highway, with his windows down. It was so noisey. I just said I wasn't interested and hung up. He is not from the GTA area...no way!

I also received a call from this number, and it was a voice I couldn't recognize, and then it hung up. Doing some research, I have also read comments that it ended up being a person's mom (above) and another saying it was an uncle calling from the middle east.
This implies to me that this is an outdial number for a discount long distance brokerage, and it's being reported as (416) 555-7777.
It would be interesting if someone, who actually recognizes / knows the caller, were to ask which long distance company / discount company that they made the call via.
The scammers that are calling are probably using the same long distance discount company to place their scam calls.
Are they really so stupid?
Got a call from this number today. Some guy said the US govt is giving out $5000 to good citizens, and he wanted to get my details so he could send the money. This screams out SCAM from all angles.

Just missed the call from (416) 555-7777 and they did not leave a message. Good thing the area code was suspicious did not look like one of USA area codes. I Googled it and got this site. Thanks to this site I will not waste my time with this scammer.
