i have lg rumor 2 with virgin and got the same 2 messages today..
what does it mean? i texted back but it said the text had failed

Just got 4 of the same messages when my husband tried sending me a photo...I have the Samsung Link through Virgin mobile. I am calling to make a complaint; this is not the only issue I have had with the phone unfortunately :( but the plan beats the other companies out there...

Well it is ovbious that this is only effecting mainly virgin mobile and some bell users(since virgin uses bells network, it makes sense). And it is obvious that this is only happening when someone tries to send a photo. I had my friend send one to me and that same message would show in two parts. It also seems that this is only happening to certain phones, samsung, blackberries, LG, and sanyo. So I think everyone should call virgin mobile or bell, if u haven't already, and explain that this is happening. Also everyone should get a friend to send them a photo and see if you get that two part nonsense message. Why it comes from the same number for all of us, (416) 555-2121(except the one person from montreal who had area code 512 I think but the rest of the number was the same), I'm still not sure of. I wonder if everyone is from ontario that this is happening to, since its a 416 number (toronto). Well that's all I could figure out for now, still not sure why its happening. I have a LG rumour 2 with virginmobile... And I receive these messages... I'm pissed off.... If I call Virgin can they block the number??

I got the Rumor 2 a few days back, and Ive gotten these texts 2 days in a row. It must be something to do with the phone, because some commetns are about the Rumor to.... I personally think its a code, but to what? The 416 is the area code for Toronto, but that probably doesnt help.

This is really creeping me out, and I think something should be done about it.

I just received 4 crypted txt msg from the same number (416) 555-2121). I'm with Bell and I have a Sanyo SCP-7050. I'm filing a complaint about the matter.
