I have recieved over 12 of these random textular messages.waird rite? I own a Lg Rumor and im with Virgin Mobile.

I got the same thing on a Samsung Instinct.  And only my dad has my number as it is brand new.  Got for in a row - same script as above.  Very odd.  Plus I have free incoming text - so i doubt that its a money grabbing scam by providers.Very strange!  Even more strange is the 3 websites with this discussion about the same number that doesn't exist!

I just received 4 crypted txt msg from the same number (416) 555-2121). I'm with Bell and I have a Sanyo SCP-7050. I'm filing a complaint about the matter.

and virgin mobile is based off of bell mobility.  coincidence that bell and virgin users are being texted.  I activated my phone online by myself.  I don't receive any of these bu***hit calls.  when you activate your phone at the kiosk(s) They send your number off to the marketers.

Also have a an LG Rumour with Virgin.Just received this message 4 times in a row.

What does this mean on my itemised calls?  the number called is 2121, SMSReceiveReply0Branded, 1 event (cost=0).
