I just received 2 unintelligable SMS messages from this number which I will charged for since I don't have a plan.

I just got these same messages a few mins ago and googled the number.. what do ya know...

I just got some of these texts too.. I replied "STOP", and it replied back (but the number was 4123) and it said "Sorry your message to (416) 555-2121 could not be delivered. We tried to deliver the message 3X with no answer. Please try again later."

The fact that the reply doesn't sound professional (at all) gives it away to be some sort of scam or something.

I got the same thing on a Samsung Instinct.  And only my dad has my number as it is brand new.  Got for in a row - same script as above.  Very odd.  Plus I have free incoming text - so i doubt that its a money grabbing scam by providers.
Very strange!  Even more strange is the 3 websites with this discussion about the same number that doesn't exist!

yeah same thing 4 me, receive 4 text on a row from (416) 555-2121 and im from montreal, but i do have virgin and a rumor 2 lg cell, wondering what these text are

it's wierd text because someone tried to sent u ã picture or mms. the phone number is ã general number from ã rogers network .
