i get these messages as well, and i think they signify when somebody sends you a picture message, but you don't have a plan that allows you to receive them as a picture.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have solved the mystery of this number.

I had a friend tell me through text that shewas going to send me a picture from her phone. I am on virgin mobile using a blackberry, she is on Koodo with an LG. Right after she said that, I got 2 messages of  //WWSDFVS... so on. Hours later she asked if I had received a picture file from her, I said no, she said she would try again. Right after she said they were sent, I received 2 more of those texts.

Booya.

I received three in a row of these messages on Bell Prepaied Sanyo phone.

I just got some of these texts too.. I replied "STOP", and it replied back (but the number was 4123) and it said "Sorry your message to (416) 555-2121 could not be delivered. We tried to deliver the message 3X with no answer. Please try again later."The fact that the reply doesn't sound professional (at all) gives it away to be some sort of scam or something.

I received this message today, also in two parts. Somethin weird is that I thought the numbers wit 555 didn't exist... but I received q message from it. I'm using the LG Rumor with virgin mobile. By chance every text message received with Virgin are Free!
