My managers name was Steve Park at ext 1200. No way that was his legal name. Both people I spoke to had heavy Indian/Punjabi accents. They claim that they are backed by Bad Boy Furniture and Hakim Optical. They want two forms of ID including photo ID, your spouse and her ID.have to show up for a 5:30 or an 8:00pm meeting that will take no longer than 90 minutes.Maybe they are in the Identity Theft business. I did not and do not fill out ballots as they claim that my ballot was one of 50 selected out of thousands.

Called saying that I won 1 of 5 prizes just come down to 1510 Drew Road, Unit 6 to pick one of the prizes.

I LOVE THESE GUYS ( I yelled @ one of them and they called back to harass, so beware if you do not think this is funny)

So I called the Phone Busters of Canada, this is a great scam, they get you to go to the centre and to sit through a presentation for a timeshare.

Here is how it works, They all have english names ( none are english )
Andrew
Jenny Dasousa
James etc...

They are local people, they are seperate from the company that provides the timeshares ( they are LEGIT and you cannot do anything ) they are just telemarketers.

I collect the information and harass them periodically.

Phone # 1 (416) 548-5982 , if you change the last digit you get another agent. Call the next agent ask for the same person that called you.

They always ask for the ext when you call back, just tell them you spoke to the supervisor ( James, or Andrew ) Tell them that you do not have the ext, or use one of the above extentions people have posted in the blog.

They block your # when you call back so then just call from a friends cell or something and let it ring then have fun. Put them on speaker and try to get them mad. They will stay on the phone the whole time, I like to play a game where we record the call then try to keep them on longer the next time. Call back with a different voice the next day!  Youtube the clips after under calls to telemarketers.

The best thing to do is to ask for
Andrew, James, Jenny Desousa, William Lee, John Mathew.

When you call in they ask you who were you speaking to? And what was your name? What is your code ( R-1575 ) there are many posted in this blog.

I like to use a generic name: Mohammed etc...

So far the following numbers work:
(416) 548-5981
(416) 548-5982
(416) 548-5983
(416) 548-5984
(416) 548-5985 ( Busy signal )

Will update further..

UPDATE:

Called and asked for SEAN RICHARDO ext:117.

They will transfer you right to someone!

He must be the office manager, as when I use other names they question me more about when I called in. ( I imagine as most call centres , they do their calling on Sat, jus tell them Sat ) Use a generic name like Mike or Mohammed and they put you through and you can have fun!

Cleo

I got the call today from F Source International regarding winning 1 of 5 prizes..blahblahblah....I can't remember the first caller's name but the "supervisor" was Alex  the number they called me from was (905) 241-1044 and I was asked to call back to confirm the time to pick up my prize at (416) 548-5984 ext 110. I wonder if Walmart, Canadian Tire, Hakim Optical and wherever else they are saying you filled the ballot at are aware that this is happening and are using their company names for this scam...

should've guessed

got a call from these guys telling me they had a ballot filled out my me from Dec 2009. I was apparently the winnner of one of 5 grand prizes including a Toshiba 42" flat screen, alaskan cruise and $1500 cash. All I had to do was show up with my husband for a 60-90 minute 'prize giveaway ceremony'. even asked me if my car was big enough in case I chose the furniture!! Then quickly said, oh. no, its OK the company will pay for delivery. They asked me to choose a time and gave me a confirmation number. Then my husband came home and laughed in my face whe I told him about it. We went online and could find nothing, not one thing on the name 'ontario source international'. Googling the address brought me to this page.Needless to say, we won't be going to the appointment.

Thanks for the Info!!

We got the same call this evening.  They were quite persistent and they were shocked that we questioned their company.  We even got a "supervisor" on the phone.  Their method of operation was exactly what was described above, and they are insistent that it is not a timeshare etc.  Unfortunately, we did make an appointment for pick-up of the prize and they have one of our cell phone #'s.  When they call back my plan is to let them know that if I receive another call both of the following things will happen:
1) I will be calling the police and registering a complaint for harassment.
2) The harassement will be turned back to them as I will be visiting the location but not to collect a prize.  As Russell Peters likes to say, "Someone gonna get hurt real bad!".

I understand what they are doing is under the umbrella of the law, but it is a colossal waste of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miffed Mrs.

I just got a call, not from the number here, but from (905) 241-1055. Same story line, same company name. She insisted there was no obligation and they "weren't selling time shares! (dead giveaway they were!) Same, very strong south-Asian accident and very bad phone line on top of it!  When I told them I didn't have a car to get to their location, "Linda" asked if my husband couldn't drive me. I asked "what husband?" She said my "ballot" had that I was "Mrs." I replied that I was, but now divorced. So, she asked if I had a  partner, live-in boyfriend, etc. No... I'm single. Ha! Suddenly I no longer qualified! Next time, I'll remember that!
