yes, I got a call from that number, ringing long-distance, showing (416) 454-5455 code.  I didn't
answer and they called back shortly after.  I answered and the guy didn't say anything,
then finally - same thing - "my name is Jack".  I finally hung up on the guy.

had a call from this number today and when i looked it up it says the Service Provider for this # is Rogers Telecommunications from Ontario, so they are probably trying to sell something.

I think it's a spoofed number. Got a call at 5:30 tonight. On my caller ID it was" +41 64 545 45 5"

Still calling here around the dinner hour.  I finally called my phone company and found out from them how to block individual numbers.  Sooooo, everytime I get a call from some number I do not recognize or that says private name and gives some number - I will block it.  I already block calls from "private name / number" and now I will start this campaign.  Check with your phone company to see how you too can block individual calls.  Good Luck!
