The person called and my husband answered. The caller asked "Mr. or Mrs.xxxx?" and my husband said, "This is Mr. xxxx". The caller (a male) said, "Oh, good," and hung up. Very strange. When we called the number back two separate times: the first time, we got a busy signal. The second time, much later, the phone just kept ringing, and there was no answer.

to the person who said the police are watching this line... which police? I want to make a complaint against it its been calling me for weeks now and its really very annoying

Got two calls this week, one i didn't answer the second I did. Of course no one on the line. I think it's a systematic way to develop a calling list based on phone numbers that where people answer the call, it can be then used or sold for tele-marketing.  Although that wouldn't explain call backs after someone has answered. Unless they are trying to develop a call list based on a target group Male or Female. Either way it's ridiculous, I blocked the number on my phone.

Just had the number call me Dec. 08 2009 at approx 1705 hrs.
Called back several times and got busy signal, finally seemed to get through...didn't ring just silence...my phone timer was on so there was clearly a connection.

I have a specific type 'business' with a website !  Just wondering if anyone has something in common with me , and perhaps this person is hitting certain people ?
