Phone rang at 8:25pm on 10/9/09 that call went to v.m (416) 364-1114 showing on caller ID. 8:27pm phone rang again, that number showed up again so we answered it. There was no responce. Who ever is behind THESE CALLS needs to be Prosicuted

Whoever this idiot is can knock it off - every day I'm getting this on my caller ID.If you're this person, and you're reading this, you'd better pray for the sake of your hearing that I DON'T pick up the phone!

Some Asian idiot called me claiming to be Sameer from StarTelecom. He was claiming to provide excellent long distance rates (and I mean EXCELLENT rates). But I asked him to provide me a detail letter stating the rates, company info, representative info and company contact details (like website and toll free number). I received the email but firstly the email was marked SPAM by gmail and then the email address that was in the FORM field of the email was some custom YAHOO email address. When the person called back (but this time it was from UNKNOWN number), I told him that I wanted their website address of the company and he said he'll get back to me. He wanted my credit card info to sign me up for the good rates but I insisted not to give the number unless and until I receive proper emails from them with their website info. BE CAREFUL... DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS over the phone unless it's a legit company. RESEARCH A LOT on the internet before making a decision to sign up. Good luck and I hope these idiots get caught before this becomes an industry wide practice!

it's true! i just had a friend who lives on the mexican border called me and that number came up on my cell. idk what he used to call though, maybe a ph card.

hey iv had same problem an just realised is a scam.......they told me i could get a loan of 600 an pay back 720 over 12months.....they got my bank details an lot.....i had to make a payment of 20 or the applicaion fee then wait upto 72hrs..... its been over 48 now, so the've took 20 out of my bank an now have my bank details.....they ant reporting an catching, then i want compensating of going without food now for the next fort-night cos ant got a penny to my name an thats why i applied thinking it was genuine........ im not happy....as anyone else had same approach off these guys??? mine sounded like africans an was pasted too three different aficans.....my partner ringing police head-quarters about them!!!! replies back please!!!!!!!!
