If I don't recognize a number I don't answer it. Best thing to do is to look it up and then block the number. Judging from these complaints, whoever this is works multiple scams. Scum of the earth!

whoever this moron is they scared the s--t out of me yesterday. told me that I had
committed income tax fraud and there was a warrant out for my arrest. I was shaking
for hours thinking I was going to prison for five years. My accountant did my taxes so
there is no fraud involved. I will be calling gov't. of Canada and police to report
this number. This guy was either Indian or Pakistanian. Ignore these calls as they are
trying to get you to go to the bank take out money to give to them to clear up the
problem. Gov't. of Canada does NOT send police to your door or go with you to
the bank to clear up ANYTHING.

Bloody scammers.. don't talk to these looters. Just put your phone on mute and put it on the side.. they will eventually hang up.

Claim they are from Microsoft security department in California!

I received a call from this number saying that it is a call from Revenue canada that my income retun is faulty and fraudulant. I or my attorney will be responsible.

Called me to tell me my computer was at risk. When I told them NEVER call me again. The guy had the gull to yell at me!

Just received a call from (416) 362-9842. Name showed up as Mayraid. Wanted to sell me a home security system. I guess if I bought one they May Raid my place. lol.

Just got a call from this scammer with a strong indian accent claiming to be from CIBC Visa wanting to drop my interest rate. New it was a scam right away he hung up on me. I cant imagine what info some people are giving him. :(

This number calls me every day saying they are from windows they hardly speak English,  when they are told no and to stop calling they immediately call back threatening me and swearing the police have been informed nothing has been done

Spam telemarketer

I have been getting calls from this number too.  Each time I get a number I don't recognize, I check it here and save it with a name like "duct cleaning scums", "computer scammers" etc.  That way I don't wonder who it is and I also have a record (for what it's worth).  I have made reports to the CRTC several times especially about the duct cleaners who are relentless in their harrassment. I don't understand why the RCMP cannot take a stand and do an undercover investigation, set the bait and catch the filth in Canada who is responsible for these calls.  Yes, the calls come from India and Pakistan but they are working for Canadian companies. Then when they catch them, they can put them in a room with a few of us and let us met out the justice.  They deserve nothing less.  On another tangent, what can we do about "Ad Choices"?  They are another pain in the derriere.  I look up something on my computer or tablet and then forever I have to look at the ads for it.  This is so stupid because I have already looked up the product so I know about it or may have even purchased it.  I don't need to be reminded of it.  Only one example is; I made the mistake of looking up various things on Walmart.ca and now I always get a banner with everything I have looked up in Walmart.ca with "Ad Choices".  Another harrassment.  I just want to be left alone.
