If I don't recognize a number I don't answer it. Best thing to do is to look it up and then block the number. Judging from these complaints, whoever this is works multiple scams. Scum of the earth!

whoever this moron is they scared the s--t out of me yesterday. told me that I had
committed income tax fraud and there was a warrant out for my arrest. I was shaking
for hours thinking I was going to prison for five years. My accountant did my taxes so
there is no fraud involved. I will be calling gov't. of Canada and police to report
this number. This guy was either Indian or Pakistanian. Ignore these calls as they are
trying to get you to go to the bank take out money to give to them to clear up the
problem. Gov't. of Canada does NOT send police to your door or go with you to
the bank to clear up ANYTHING.

Bloody scammers.. don't talk to these looters. Just put your phone on mute and put it on the side.. they will eventually hang up.

Claim they are from Microsoft security department in California!

I received a call from this number saying that it is a call from Revenue canada that my income retun is faulty and fraudulant. I or my attorney will be responsible.

Called me to tell me my computer was at risk. When I told them NEVER call me again. The guy had the gull to yell at me!

Just received a call from (416) 362-9842. Name showed up as Mayraid. Wanted to sell me a home security system. I guess if I bought one they May Raid my place. lol.

Just got a call from this scammer with a strong indian accent claiming to be from CIBC Visa wanting to drop my interest rate. New it was a scam right away he hung up on me. I cant imagine what info some people are giving him. :(

I just got a call from this number today.  I decided to answer as i have received many calls from this number in the past and it is always a different scam, with people who can hardly speak English.  From this number, i have had someone claiming to be from Microsoft, informing me that my computer was infected with a virus and that i had to log in and follow his instructions and i informed him that what I was going to do was call police as they were a scam and they immediately hung up.  Then i was getting calls from this same number and they were leaving messages, from a duct cleaning company- again sounded from India.  I did report to the DNC (I am registered for unwanted soliciting calls) and calls stopped.  Today, I answered the phone and a male from India was claiming he was calling from Bell Canada.  Please note that the call display showed "unknown" and the number (416) 362-9842.  I stated that i was not interested and he hung up as I was asking him to kindly remove my number.  It is very sad that so many scams go on in this world. Worse yet, I have received various calls from the same number, yet it is for different scams and it hasn't stopped.  These cockroaches must be stopped!

For the last few days i getting calls from this number, as soon as I pick up the other person ends the call without saying anything.   I made an attempt to call,  ends the calls before start ringing.   I am wondering who is calling or what is the reasons of these calls??

Got a call from "Ceylon Tech support" saying that my computer was downloading bad files from the internet. They got that knowledge from "the international servers." ?I told them I would report them to the cops and they hung up.

I have received a call from Matt Carter unfortunately, I was not at work so he left me a message stating that my car still needs a fix and they are demanding of $2000 from me. If I don?t pay within 5 business days they will keep my car and won't release it? Then on top of this he says it with a loud voice " THIS IS THE LAST TIME I AM CALLING YOU" Ammm last time I checked, I drive my car to work every day, it's not at a repair shop and to top it all off I work at a Car mechanic so if my car would be getting fixed, I'd be the one fixing it. Wow I cannot believe people really do this fraud.

Got a call from this number on Jan 07,2015 at 10:40 AM. The guy said he was calling from windows and that there is a problem in my computer. I told him that he is scamming me and will report it to the police. I then hanged up.
