Some Bastard Paki called in "Punjabi" language (I can understand there language) and told that they provide Home care Services and would like to offer you "Duct Cleaning for a Good Rate" He kept on calling for 3 months even we told him many times that we just got it done recently. One telling him not to call us, he called and started abusing, I called Peel Police, Phone Busters, Rogers my home phone Provider Company, but nothing happened and he is calling again even today. got a call form this number today.....say something about "Consumer Credit"....get a better rate something......How can I stop this kind of call....I don't even have a credit card....

On Sep 09,2008 I got call from a Skype caller. Caller # was 416=360-4084.Voice was very clear. I'm in Calgary Alberta Canada caller was in New York.

Several weeks ago I was phoned to tell me I had won 1 of 5 prizes for a draw I entered in December at the local mall (but I did not even live in the province in December so I know that is not where they got my number) The President of the company, James Robinson, could barely speak English but heard my skepticizm. He gave me a phone number to call back if I changed my mind (718) 673-6170, this is a number in New York (Bronx, Queens, area). It is likely some timeshare company wanting you to hear their pitch.
I have been receiving many calls a day with no one at the other end. Yesterday there were at least 5 calls. Today there have already been 5 calls. So I stopped answering the phone when the numbers (416) 360-1176 or (416) 360-4084) appeared in my display. Then they tried a new number (416) 350-5218.
I think the 2 situations are related. The constant calls are driving me nuts!
When I called Bell to complain they suggested I register for the new national Do Not Call List for telemarketers. You can register on Sept 30, 2008 at www.crtc.gc.ca. Telemarketers who call you can be fined. There is also another do not call list at www.the-cma.org but the list is only followed by members of the Canadian Marketing Association.
