Claimed to be 'James' from Forde Home Service offering duct cleaning services.  When I asked questions about the 'offer' he hung up on me.  Why is this sort of call ok?

it sounds like fax, but it comes on my land line, everyday, very annying.

On Sep 09,2008 I got call from a Skype caller. Caller # was 416=360-4084.
Voice was very clear. I'm in Calgary Alberta Canada caller was in New York.

had this # call 2X...tried to call back & # out of service. Believe it is a scam able to select whatever caller ID they want.

They are calling me several times a day and clogging up my answering machine with the stupid beeping.  The number I keep getting calls from is (416) 360-8084.Has anyone come up with way to make them stop yet?  Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can make them stop?

Getting calls with a beep.  Doesn't sound like a fax.  No person on the other end.  No company name or other identifying info
