I got a call from the same number. When I answer I get the Fax noise. When I call back it rings once then hangs up.This has happened to me from other numbers in the past with the same result. Why??

I just received a call from that number. It was a junk fax from Ontario-Wide Financial Corp pitching $$Quick Money$$ - Loans for any purpose. Phone #: (416) 925-3974.They have an automated number to remove yourself from their broadcast fax list:(416) 410-7401, then press 7

This number calls my house everday at noon and 4pm, hangs up, and when we try to call the number back, it disconnects.
This has been happening for several months now, since the summer.

This number shows up fairly frequently on my caller ID.  Because the calles generally come during dinnertime, I don't answer, and there is never a message.

Someone called from (416) 284-2944 and hanged up. I called back
line was cut off after one ring.
