phone calls from this number at midnight, disturbs elderly, any info

An Indian gentleman called at 12:11am which i did not answer and at 8:52pm a few days later, which I did answer.  Claimed he was from Microsoft saying I had a computer security problem and that it needed to be fixed.  I could barely understand him.  Told him I didn't want his service, didn't know how he got my number, and to stop calling.  I think he was going to try talk me into downloading something "to fix the problem" so he would have access to my computer.

He is still calling people!  Got a call tonight after 9pm asking me about my computer and windows needed to be fixed. Someone also called me from unknown and other numbers asking about my computer 3 weeks ago. I told him to take me off his list and hung up. He called back 5 times!

Indian Accent, claimed  my computer was infected and he was going to help, ................ i think he was going to take over my computer.....don,t fall for this kind of crap

No doubt these guys are running a scam.  Unfortunately they've hijacked this number, I spoke to the actual owner of this number and he told me he's been working with the authorities to get this resolved.As an Indian myself I feel ashamed of the kind of work these youngsters do instead of doing something meaningful in their lives.  Luckily I had the advantage of shifting back to the local language and cuss them in words they understand and that was the end of it.Again as someone from the Computer Industry, never download a file that someone unknown tells you to, there is so much malware and viruses and they can totally hijack your machine, record every keystroke and send emails with your username/passwords.Nothing will make me more happy than to see these a***oles behind bars.
