Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.

The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

I'd researched this number online to see if was a telemarketing call....Glad I did!They keep calling my cell phone. And they never leave a message when I don't answer.

This number called me Iheard both me and someone else say hellpo and asked for my girlfriend by first and last name and so I asked how they got my number for reaching her they said I don't know that it was a curtisy call and asked for her number so I gave it to them cuz recently she let me use her credit card for a order by mail and I had to sign her name..Which I told her and it was fine but now I thought they were calling to see if she placed the order..i used her name but my number...who knows i just msged her and told her not o answer or give them an info just incase after reading these posts

Someone from (416) 233-0047 called my house. The person they asked for was not home. I asked who was calling and they told me they could not give me that information. Really!!!

He just called back and cursed at me.

As has been suggested previously this appears to be a call from survey firm Market Probe.  I called (416) 233-1555 and asked to be put on the "do not call list".  The guy at the other end was very courteous and prompt.  I still hate call centre operations, but as they go I don't think this one is anything to worry about.  For those who have received calls from this number that sound really scammy - and there are apparently a few described in these posts - remember that any boiler room phone scammer can spoof just about any caller ID.  Faking the ID of a legit market survey firm is a logical thing for a scammer to do.

I share your sentiment....I'm sick of gettin' this same phone call on my fricken cell phone no less. Only thing is I don't answer and they never leave any voicemail. Go buddy....through the other side and stuff the sh** down their f***ing throats.  Have a good one.  D

I get several calls from this number, I do not answer because I do not know this number and they leave no message.
