Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.
The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

I have worked for RBC and know that they only use 800 numbers when calling people. Don't believe them if they say it's RBC, just report it to your local branch or go on their website and you'll find an 800 number for fraud marketing calls.I got this call too but didn't pick it up. If they call again I'm going to answer and tell them I am reporting them.

got a call from (416) 233-0047. it is a company called Market Probe Canada (easy to find on the web) and they are infact a company working on behalf of RBC but they are extremely unprofessional and hung up on me when I asked that the number be removed from the calling list and like everyone else they avoided me calling them. After some extensive research on the net I have found this number(416) 233-1555 ...call this number to have your number removed from the list and be sure to get the name of the person who takes your request and his/her extension or operator number.you could also try calling market probe themselves 1.(416) 487-4144and asking for the president or the senior vice president. And with a few clicks of the computer it was easy to find the home phone number of the Senior vp !! (not smart on his behalf!)

Received a call from this number at 8PM tonight. There was only the silence on the other end. I said "Hello" a couple of times, then they hung up on me. Tried to call them back from my cell to find out what they wanted, but the number was always busy. Will try later on. Probably pull a little prank on them by saying that I'm really interested in their product or whatever they do over there. After asking for all the small details I'll say "No". BTW, my number is unlisted as well.PS: when you get a number from your telephone provider, it doesn't mean it's unknown to anyone. My phone used to belong to someone named Stokes. I still get calls now and then, when people ask for him. All the best to everyone...

Constant, constant calling from this number. Have answered a few times, but get dead air, indicating that multiple calls are being placed at the same time, and the one who picks up first gets the caller on the other end. Extremely annoying. Please STOP!I am registered on the Do-Not-Call list.

I live in Happy Valley Labrador and they called my cell phone 4 times in about an hour..RBC didn't do anything about it YET!
