Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.

The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

I'd researched this number online to see if was a telemarketing call....Glad I did!They keep calling my cell phone. And they never leave a message when I don't answer.

It is from Market Probe.

On second thought, it is the RBC who gave out my name and phone number, so it would make sense to send the complaint to RBC first. If the number of people sending the complaint is big enough then they may stop giving out the list or force Market Probe Canada to change the way they conduct their survey. I get several calls from this number, I do not answer because I do not know this number and they leave no message.

wow, i got a call from the same number, and a man was looking for Anatoly. I said that it's a wrong number and he hung up....

Someone called me from this number, my husband answered, asked for me by first name only.  when my husband told him I wasn't home he said ok and hung up.  Very rude and impolite!

Got a call around 8 p.m.  My husband picked up the phone and gave it to me....when I said hello....there was nothing.  Saw the comments up above about RBC.....probably them.

Weird call.  Sounds like the person is saying, Are you my ni&&a? on voice mail.  Will definitely not pick up when this number is displayed.
