Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.

The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

I'd researched this number online to see if was a telemarketing call....Glad I did!They keep calling my cell phone. And they never leave a message when I don't answer.

that # calls me all the time, day and night. I do not answer

Same issue here. Got a call from Toronto. My partner answered, they claimed to be from RBC, but would not talk to him, wanted my number instead. They called my cell, but did not leave a name/message. Obviously a scam.. whatch out.

Just got a call from Adelle at this number. Then my phone just died. Likely a battery problem.

For the last 2 weeks I received 2 sometimes 3 times a day a call from this number, when I took the phone but did not answer the line was disconnected. Finally yesterday again no answer but when I said hello a man answered asking for me he said that he is calling about a survey. I told him not to call again and now I will wait and see if this number calls again.FWM4

I keep getting calls from this number too!  I live in Victoria, BC.  I haven't answered yet, but after reading this I'm going to answer and give the person on the other end an ear-full.
