Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.

The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

I'd researched this number online to see if was a telemarketing call....Glad I did!They keep calling my cell phone. And they never leave a message when I don't answer.

It is from Market Probe.

The guy responsible for all the telemarketers is:

getting many calls from this number - no one there when I pick up, no messages left if I don't answer.Reverse look up shows no one has that number.

I got a call from this number while my daughter was at work. The girl asked for her by just her first name.  I am afraid I was rude, then I got wondering if it was someone she had known before I moved in with her, so I googled, and sure enough - it looks like it was the evil, creepy Rbc AGAIN!!I am getting really tired of this intrusiveness.

Second call in two weeks from 1-416-2-0047 requesting information on behalf on RBC. Wanting to inquire about the service I received when I visited by branch recently.  On both occasions I declined the request.  On both occasions I called back when they called to check them out. The first time they answered and immediately replaced receiver and the second time they did not answer at all.  I checked with Royal Bank, they confirmed this number does not belong to them.  They also gave me a security e-mail address to report it, but when I tried that e-mail was for on-line scams only.  At this point I gave up.

The number (416) 233-0047 called my place at 8:43pm didn't answer it. I found this site and thought what the hell ill block my number and call them back. Called at 9:09pm they hung up at 9:16pm lol hope I pissed them off!!

Got a missed call while i was in the shower, dont know the number, no voice mail left. Most recent time i gave my cell number out was at a bank appointment with rbc.

I got a call today from them and i had been to the branch locally last week, the teller told me to possibly await a call from market probe as they are doing a survey on customer service, so it is legit, you just have to tell them how the teller did... dont give any personal info like bank numbers to anyone, ever, but these are just a survey to see how the tellers are doing.. no big scam or anything
