Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.

The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

I'd researched this number online to see if was a telemarketing call....Glad I did!They keep calling my cell phone. And they never leave a message when I don't answer.

But it NOT that simple!!!If you do this for every moronic telemarketer/survey company/police association/charity that decides to invade YOUR privacy and steal YOUR valuable time by calling any time they choose, then you won't have much time for YOUR life.

Got a call from (416) 233-0047. I couldn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I called back 20 seconds later and no one answers....

I received many phonecalls from this number (416) 233-0047. It's a business marketing research company out of etobicoke (toronto). Call this number (416) 233-1555 and ask for your name to be removed from their list if you are not interested in the product or information. This number is the actual office number for the call center in etobicoke.

I live in Vancouver...  I go this Phone CALL 1-(416) 233-0047 right after I got 1-231-732-2879.1-231-732-2879 SOUNDS like those shopping TV ads..  " wow, you are so LUCKY.  you won a discount trip to CanCUN.. 6 days and 9 nights"WTF.. It sounds too GOOD to be TRUE..I wish I can f****ng reach into the microphone part of the PHONE and stuff tons of LOAD of S*** down his F****NG throat.!!!

(416) 233-0047 called last evening (November 24, 2009) around 6:15 p.m. - used my first name. It was disturbing. They didn't identify who they were, why there were calling or how to get back in touch with them. Used *69 to get the number - we don't have caller ID (the charge will appear on my phone bill). 1st call back - line busy, next 2 call backs no answer! We're on the national "do not call list" - guess this company/person doesn't subscribe to it!
