Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.

The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

I'd researched this number online to see if was a telemarketing call....Glad I did!They keep calling my cell phone. And they never leave a message when I don't answer.

It is from Market Probe.

The guy responsible for all the telemarketers is:

Someone from (416) 233-0047 called my house. The person they asked for was not home. I asked who was calling and they told me they could not give me that information. Really!!!

I am on the DO NOT CALL list and this caller needs to stop calling. I do not know them and they might as well stop because there is nothing here for them.I hang up before interdiction.

called Market Probe 419-233-1555 about why they were calling, it was a survey about a recent visit to RBC.  You can (as I did) to be placed on the do not call list.

Confirming that number Did not answer the call They did not leave message Phoned back got busy tone for a while then ...I got their recorded message YES  It is Market Probe a company that works for clients I assume it could be agent for bill collector/collection Hmm so  late at night very suspicious Interesting enough earlier during the day  my other phone number I got long distance call  I answered and they told me  I won tickets to Disney and said before you get excited in which I was not lol  I need to ask you some questions  they asked are you  ___ DOB __ email ___  They had my info except some minor error with email  I answered NO  They said you are not name ____ I said NO they said ok and hung up That call was from a 407 area code  DO NOT ANSWER NOR CONFIRM ANY INFO ON THE PHONE  No one should have your personal info  just like that

We got the first call at 845 pm and told them to call back the next evening.  I investigated the number found this posting and decided to have fun.  When they called back for my wife they told her they were calling to do a survey for royal bank.  I told her to ask for a call back number.  The woman on the other end said she didnt know the number.  My wife asked how she could work for a company and not know their phone number?  The woman advised they have 2 numbers so my wife asked for either one.  the woman said she didnt know.  When she asked to speak to her supervisor she was told none were available.  So my wife said dont ever call back.  lets see what happens

This number called my number 3 times within a 2 hour period, but I didn't pick up. Only people who want to trick you into giving up your personal information would be so persistent. And if it is that important that they need to call you 3 times, they would have left a message and asked you to call back. I have a feeling it must be some kind of scam. Be careful!
