Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.

The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

I'd researched this number online to see if was a telemarketing call....Glad I did!They keep calling my cell phone. And they never leave a message when I don't answer.

You guys crack me up... I have an unlisted #... where did they get it?? for real? a, it prob is a survey company, and if you call the bank, no, they won't know about it, it's their corporate office that sponsors them, not the branch.  This also means they got your number FROM THE BANK! 2nd, if it is a scam or any other type of general survey and they happen to call you, it's cuz they use a computer dialer... it just goes thru a series of numbers, over and over.... 1111...1112....1113....1114.... get it? so your unlisted number means nothing when it comes to that.  get a clue.  all an unlisted number means is if they attempt to call 411 and ask for your phone number by name, it's not found.  nothing more.

Got a call for this number this afternoon on my cell. Didn't pick it up as i'm working. They didn't leave a msg either...

This IS a legitimate number from a Market Research company.  If you do not want to be contacted by them in the future, you need to ANSWER THE PHONE and ask them nicely to add you to their internal Do Not Call list.  You can't blame them for doing their job (aka repeatedly trying to give you an opportunity to have your voice heard). Be kind to market researchers - they're not trying to harass you, but they do want to give you an opportunity to have your say.

Constant badgering from this number, now I will just hang up, claims to want to talk about investments.
