My mother just started receiving these texts tonight and has recieved aboput 7 in the last few hours. It comes out as ".p"

I think this is a hack/exploit of the TXT system in order to get people mad about getting charged for txt messages now that Bell and others have changed what msg's they charge for... typically no one got charged for receiving ?a message....   This type of attack should stir things up I guess,Maby wake people up to the fact that Canadians pay more then most of the world, even some 3rd world countries for our wireless/cellphone service.Cheers,I guess

I'm in Vancouver, and I just got a text from this darn number too. No message was displayed.

I'm in Toronto. Received July 19. No message, just the phone number and ".p" on the second line. Tried the phone number. Started ringing after the "8" with message that number was out of service.
