Called my cell phone this morning. I didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number.

Please do something!!!!!!! Cell phones are too expensive not to control the calls that come in. We must have the right or nothing else will make sense!~

Just received the fcall from (403) 905-8000.  Did not pick up.  Reported to FTC.

"Getting spam originating from Canada now."Not necessarily.  It's possible to spoof the caller ID.  The call could actually be coming from anywhere.

A word of caution here.  Yes, I too get these calls - last one was from this number (403) 905-8000) BUT, ...  I do NOT answer these calls.   It did say Alberta, but these calls are "computer generated"  and IF you answer these calls then it automatically tells their system that they have reach a viable (working) number and they WILL call you back, again, and again, and...  (you can press "1" all you want to have your number Removed - IT WON'T HELP !)   IF you do NOT answer these calls (you DO have caller ID, right?  - I mean everyone I think has it by now or should) eventually it will record your number as "non-working" and eventually never call you again.   Kind of ruins their fun.IF you feel you need to answer it (DON'T) but keep a list as I do next to the phone with all the numbers (listed in order by area code) that have called and after checking in with Goggle, write down what it is.   When they call again, first check your list against the number BEFORE answering it - then you will know who it is BEFORE you answer.
