got the same message today said they were air canada got same call the other day from same number and they said they were Airmiles and i won 10,000 points and i must be 25 ahahahahhaah sure,you don't have to be 25 to have an airmiles card so i know its time share crap and hung up on them.

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I only give my cell phone number to my daughters, and thus would never consider listening to any messages from an unknown number.  How did they get my number?

I just got a call from (403) 674-2323 with the exact same message as described in the original post.

An automated message was saying (ladies voice):

"Because you are an preferred Air Canada member we are giving you a special gift. Press 1 to accept."

I pressed 1, then there some weird noises and the phone hung up.

Yup, I just got the call on my unlisted cell number. It's has to be a war dialer that calls (xxx) xxx-0000 to (xxx) xxx-9999

I received a call on my cell from this number on 27sep2010.  I missed the call, and thought nothing of it.  But I was just checking the call display on my landline, and saw that the same number called on 24sep2010!  I figured I must know this person if they know both my numbers... So I did a search--most reverse phone lookup searches didn't give me any information, but one search said that it is most likely based out of Sylvan Lake, AB (Which is right outside of Red Deer, AB).

We have a computerized system and my phone acted funky after...
