This number called me this morning and I did not answer. I have received a call in the past from this number where I was pressured to donate and made to feel guilty about not donating. I asked to be placed on their do not call list which clearly did not happen.It's basically a scam. Most of the money does not go to Charity at all. And some of it winds up lining the pockets of it's founder. Here's an article detailing the whole scam this guy is running from the Toronto Star. Received a call from this number on January 4, 2010 at 10:27 a.m. (CST).  The caller was extremely rude and would not get off the phone even though I explained to him that this was my business number and that I was busy.  I also explained to him that I donated to a variety of charitable causes and that I did not wish to contribute to his organization at this time.  He brushed me off by asking why I wasn't prepared to assist in leukemia research.  Without question this was the rudest solicitation for funds that I have received in a very long time.  Also, I'm in Saskatchewan and I don't understand why the solicitation is coming from Calgary, Alberta!

Child Lukemia charity, called them back at +1 800-619-6103 and got removed from list.  Be careful when AFTER your press "9"...voice is cut off and all you hear is press 2- don't- press 1 again and this will remove you from their call list- SO THEY SAY.  Why is an Alberta charity calling people in SASK?

I received a HANG UP call from this number.  That only makes me NOT want to donate to their "charity".  Are they a legitimate charity?  I checked out the web site.  Very little info on the site.  I emailed them and said such calls are a total turn off.  Is it offshore telemarketers who have no manners?  Are they american telemarketers who are just plain rude?  the number on call display means nothing.  I have received other hang up calls and when i call back I get "this number is not in service".  How can that be?  the scammers are obviously smarter with technology than I am.  Or maybe i an just too honest and polite.

Received a call from them here in Saskatchewan this morning. Still scamming, I see. This time though it started as a recording. "Due to the..." (click - I hung up)
