Called this afternoon. Caller was rude and insistent after I mentioned I do not entertain unsolicited requests for donations, or even information from charitable organisation, over the phone (we have our own system of organisations we donate to). Kept insisting that her job was to "assess the amount of monetary donations" I was willing to make. Caller won't get off the phone and her aggressiveness dissipated any form of goodwill.

I have been getting calls from this number. How do we block it??

Got called by this number over 20 times today.  It's still calling me after 10 minutes!!! Picked up and no answer. no message left. Who is this number????? $@#&!@!

I got a call this morning -- once I answered the person said one, unintelligible, word and then hung up.

I received a call today, and the rude insistant man on the line said he was raising funds for Lukemia research.  After listening to his speal, and telling him I don't give information on the phone, but said if he mailed it to me I'd look, he tried to tell me I he wasn't getting through to me.

Anyway, with his attitude, and the google history of this number, I believe that it is a scam number being used.  I would advise not to give money to this phone number.

This number called me this morning and I did not answer. I have received a call in the past from this number where I was pressured to donate and made to feel guilty about not donating. I asked to be placed on their do not call list which clearly did not happen.It's basically a scam. Most of the money does not go to Charity at all. And some of it winds up lining the pockets of it's founder. Here's an article detailing the whole scam this guy is running from the Toronto Star.
