I got a call from a guy named Daniel. He said he has a client who is a university student, his company has qualified her for 20,000$ for a car. None of the cars they had were what she wanted and she found my ad in the auto-trader.His company, Canada Auto Index, will pay me 20,0000$ (even tho I am only asking 18,900$ for my car) if she likes the car. All I have to do is interact email transfer 400$ today to get the process started.He stated the money was for titling of the car, fees on making a bank draft for me.Hmmmm...when I said I didn't have an online bank account information he asked me to register and call him back as soon as I could. That was all. I called back. Got a voice mail right away saying to leave my name. There was no company name in the voice message.SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I rec'd a call from Jerry this time and his story sounded like their was something up. Itold him I wanted to check the company out before going any further in our conversation so I googled the company name and look what I found lol, all your wonderful comments (Thanks by the way) as all I had to do was check one site and I knew I was on the right track of being scammed. Ok, so Kevin states in his email (Apr 6) that they have been in business for over 5 years and then the president and owner state in a email 1 month later (May 6) that they have been in business since March 2008??? Are you guys for real, maybe you should pass by eachother what your posting online so you don't look like complete idiots! They may be intelligent in scamming but their common sense is not so SHARP! As for the BBB, search them on their website, they are NOT registered with them as doing good business, in fact they aren't registered with them at all! Use your own common sense and do your research before handing someone your credit card number or other form of payment. I am thankful I didn't get scammed!

Index Media Autos is a SCAM!!! I listed my car with Kevin Monkman with a money back guarantee if my car didn't sell within 90 days. He told me he had buyers lined up, but nothing ever happened! I submitted my form for the refund and never received a check. I talked to Eugene and said he would follow up, but never heard from him again, despite my phone calls. So, don't listen to the replys in this forum from Danny or Kevin or Eugene they are lying to you and are just out to scam you!Just do what I did, simply have the charges reversed on your credit card! That's the beauty of paying with a credit card, just dispute the charges for the refund that was due to you. This is the way to fight back!
