They called one afternoon and then again two days later. They were doing a survey and air quality. They asked about my workplace as well which was odd. I thought that it may perhaps be a way of finding out whether or not you will be home during they day and then you may find that your home is robbed. They asked about pets and then assumed that I was married. They asked "what does your spouse....." as opposed to starting with "What is your marital status". There was also comment of a draw to be made in November (very far away). That would definitely be something to be weary of. In any case, it was very odd, and I gave out no specific information. I may just be a little paranoid, but you can never be too careful about these sorts of things...

I've received three calls this week and every time I pick up the receiver there is no one there. Obviously their taped recording is not working. Please tell me who this is and why they are calling so I can report them to the do not call people.
Annoyed
Just a few minutes ago, I received a call from a lady, speaking poor English, from this phone number, requesting to speak to the 'man of the house'. Being annoyed with another potential fraudulent call yesterday, I asked the lady why she called my number. She said that she was doing a survey. I told her that we didn't know each other, there's no reason she should invade my privacy, and that I'd call the police if she would disturb me again.
To block the call, after hanging up my phone, I dialed *77. This should block all calls from their number in the future. Make sure that was the last call, without any other incoming or outgoing calls made in between.
If you wish to cancel, dial *87.
Good luck!

They would not tell me the name of the company either. They asked who worked in an office and if we had any pets... Seems like they want to know who will be away from the house for the day. I told them we had a large ferocious dog! They keep calling back now and hanging up.

Well I went for the group interview tonight, and it wasnt till getting home and my dad urging my to google these guys that I see mainly negative feedback.
During the interview they breakdown different "departments" you could say. And among them is customer service which is what everyone is describing as the ones that call asking about all your information. They talk about a few other departments and among them was the ones who appear at your door to present Breathe EZ Homes, air purifiers. They offer over $3000.00 promised per monthly salary. And depending on how much you work you can make up to 4800.00 monthly. They say you only set up appointments at 1pm,3pm, 6pm, and 8:30pm. But I've read every single post in this thread and people are saying reps have to come when both married people are home, so I'm not sure how that would even work. I noticed about five people walk out during the LENGTHY (5:00-8:00) presentation. Maybe because they realized the newspaper said this was a job opportunity for an electrical company..or that Ken, the speaker wouldnt say how much this purifier would cost at any point even when directly asked.. saying that he didnt want people to get hung up on sales. He made everything seem very laid back and flexible with good pay which is why I jumped on this interview. I JUST got the call back saying. "Congratulations, you're on our "good" list, please come at such and such date for the further training" I'm a young woman and am probably too naive to pick up on 'obvious' signs. I really dont want to get involved with a company that lies from the outset, or cheats and steals from people if that's the case. And if so...is that just shady business men and not the companies fault? Something doesnt add up...if you're promised 3000+ as a set salary why would the sales people be under so much pressure to sell? I'd be happy with that amount. Does the salary eventually get cut down to just comission? Or are they just greedy? I would probably do fine giving a 30-45minute presentation...it shouldnt be longer than that. And I would never try to steal from people. Bah, very frustrated and uncertain. So if anyone that has been employed with them can give me more info. I do plan to go back next week for the 3 day training session. I'll only need one day to address the things I've read here. I will be printing out quotes, not your names or info. Just random sentences, and I want to know right off the bat are these really high pressure con artists.
What I dont understand though is how can they be doing so well, and pay so well, and be around for apparently 80 years?
