I've received three calls this week and every time I pick up the receiver there is no one there. Obviously their taped recording is not working. Please tell  me who this is and why they are calling so I can report them to the do not call people.

They have been calling me for weeks now! We are on the do not call list, so what's going on? I refuse to answer any calls that are listed as private or unknown, so I haven't answered. I have worked for a call center before that did surveys like this... (Only went for 3 shifts and felt so guilty! It's horrible!) Company's like this take advantage of young people trying to make a living, and after they are hired they find out if they don't finish enough surveys they can be sent home early and their shifts will be cut back... So this is why these people sound so desperate. I wish I could find out where all these people are at so I could go in and help them find REAL jobs, and maybe even put myself right in the middle of this so I could find out what exactly they are being told! Doesn't sound like they know too much themselves.AND. Most people at call centers like this (you know... the sleazy kind) aren't given the power to take your name off of their automated call list. They can only set call back times. Only a supervisor can remove your name, and sometimes even they can't... And most refuse to. So try and speak to supervisors!Remember, these people are jsut that... people. Ask them enough questions and they might just break. Also ask if the call is being recorded. If they are recording a call without mentioning it before starting the call, it is illegal. I'm not saying they will admit to recording it, but most call centers record conversations now and then to use as "training" Just find out as much as you can, try and get the address of the company as well. Report everything you know to the BBB.

I have my home phone number as well as my cell phones on the national do not call list.  Why are these people STILL calling?  I *never* answer the phone.

Wtf... they've called like 5 times the past 2 days, Ive simply just picked up and hung up everytime. Not going to talk to those idiots

The company is called Breathe E-Z Homes.  They are definitely NOT respecting the CRTC's Do Not Call List.Here is the Calgary BBB listing for them (they are NOT a BBB accredited business):  http://calgary.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=154&bbb=0017&firm=52152The listing gives the company's business address and phone number.  I called the number to complain and spoke to a person named Lovey Chahal.  The calls stopped after I threatened to go to the police and charge them with harassment.FYI I have also filed a complaint with the Calgary BBB; it was very easy to do via an online form.  I strongly suggest that others do this also.  The company will either comply or their business reputation will get dinged.  For your complaint indicate that you feel you have been harassed.  If they kept calling after you asked their telemarketer to STOP calling, indicate this also.  For a remedy, indicate that you want them to STOP calling, & that you want a WRITTEN apology.

Just called me tonight but no one was on the line...weird...
